Default Seeking work. Electronics Tech

Why not? What could it hurt? Looking for work in Poway, Escondido, San Marcos areas. I'm in Ramona.

Here's a brief overview of what I can do. Lately I've been in manufacturing type gigs.

Former Navy Electronics Technician seeking position with a company that can benefit from my unique combination of electrical, electronic and mechanical skills.
Have over 20 years experience as Electronics Technician maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment types.
ET1(SW)/RET
NEC 1588
NEC 9502

Have 3+ years experience as Quality Control Inspector
Have 3.5 years experience as a test technician in a production environment.
Have 5+ years experience as Technician in military repair depot
Have 2 years experience as Navy Instructor. I have strong written and verbal communication skills. I also have 12 years of supervisory experience.
Have 3 years experience as a professional mechanic. I have extensive experience with a wide array of hand tools and physical measurement tools. Also have some machining experience.
Available to work any shift
Available to start immediately
I am eligible to work in United States

Also, seeing General Dynamics, Raytheon, Northrop-Grumman and SAIC posting lots of jobs that seem tailor fit for ex-military ETs. What systems were you most familiar with during your time in service?

Definitely create a Linkedin profile, and start searching for technician and field service roles. Seems to be a lot of demand for people with hands on with military comm and radar systems right now.

I see you have a 1588 NEC. How is your Metrology skills? I work in a fast paced Metrology lab for a HUGH tech company in Sorrento Mesa. We night be looking for another tech on the 2-11pm schedule.

Lots of jobs in the Austin area for your line if work. It's what I do. Started working a week after submitting my resume on Monster. I prepared for the move a year in advance, only regret is not doing it sooner. And no state income taxes!
