Ben,
I don't remember you looking like your pictures in person. Have you had surgery since I last saw you?

Nope, and you won't see it for a while. On the other hand factory ammo is available for megabucks.

My service rifle high power competition gun.
It's very precise. 10 shots at 200 meters (218~ yards) from prone with sling. Oh, and here's my Savage 10FP for all you scoped rifle people.

Yes, I painted it myself using Brownells Alumahyde II. It didn't come out like I wanted. I put the desert tan first and then the olive drab. The resulting scheme I wanted actually required me to put the OD first, then the desert tan with the stencils in place. I should have used reverse logic (light then dark, instead of dark then light). Oh well. I can always repaint it.

The bulldogarms.com site is where I got the stencils from.
I guess you could pay me to do it, but I make no guarantees on your satisfaction. When I did mine, I was pretty much winging it and playing it by ear.

The Savage? Just $500 for the rifle and $500 for the stock. Maybe another $500 for the scope, mounting hardware, sling, and stock pack.

ocabj, what was the spread on that 200m group? nice.
Looks like you could put one in somebody's ear at 200m, with irons! Just curious, what is your eyesight? Are you better than 20/20? |

Uncorrected, my eyesight is pretty bad. I actually had cataract surgery back in 2002 so I have a synthetic lens in my right eye. That means the vision in my right eye (dominant eye) is "fixed focus" and I have to wear bi/tri-focals or progressive (I use progressive) in order to see far and near.

Probably but it is solid and I have a weird thing about having the knobs close to center between the rings as possible and wanted my front ring as far forward as I can get it.
