Congratulations, but that picture isn't of a "Loaded". It looks like a Mil-Spec stainless

I dont really shoot other than to test how different brands work in my gun and shoot 10-15 paper targets a month. Even if ammo was dirt cheap, i still wouldnt shoot often. I spend a lot of time cleaning/polishing my guns more than shooting. I believe its different strokes for different folks. My grandpa is the same way with his rifles, he cleans them or take on staining projects only to hang as a picture frame. I skipped an XD45, Glock 30 for a 1911 for obvious reasons, visual aesthetics and how it sits so perfectly in my hands |

SA 1911 Mil Spec model... very nice basic 1911 you can either modify or keep it like that.
Enjoy

I do own an SA "Loaded" in SS. The only real differences from the Mil-spec is the sights (3-dot) and ambi-safety levers. Other than that pretty much the same gun with the same great SA warranty. Enjoy and good luck!

I'll never understand men who collect guns to admire them like purses, but to each his own. Nice 1911 dude.

The differences between the Mil-Spec and the Loaded are that the Loaded also has either 3 dot sights or adjustable sights, ambi-safety, beavertail, skeletonized hammer/trigger, a full length guiderod and a different mainspring housing.
There may be other internal differences that I'm overlooking too.

From the factory the loaded also has: Matchgrade ultralight overtravel adjustable trigger. Matchgrade notched skeletonized hammer Matchgrade precision cut sear a tuned sear spring full beaver tail grip safety. a full length guide rod match grade barrel All Loaded models are assembled and tuned in house before test firing. Personally while I think the loaded is nice, I feel the OP has just picked up a real winner. This handgun is crisp and well mannered but also leaves tons of room for the OP to purchase upgrades and get into the exciting world of 1911 ownership. Excellent purchase OP! V.

Welcome to the world of 1911s...
It won't be your last 1911.... You have a problem now, a good problem, but a problem...
