Default Botach Ammo Order

Probably wrong forum...sorry.

Mrgunsngear posted a link for some bulk 9mm at a good price. It's my first order with botach and I'm not particularly impressed thus far. I received email confirmation of my order 9/27 and nothing since. No one answers the phone, live chat is never available and they don't returns emails or voicemail. They have not charged me yet.

With the upcoming laws, I just want to know if I am going to get my order or not. If not, fine. I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere.

Is this typical service for Boatch? Should I expect my order to be filled.

Also, I live in LA County (not the city of LA). Am I correct thinking I am ok to order ammo online? Maybe I have the laws wrong and they cannot ship to me?

Pretty much business as usual for them, no matter what you order.

Great.

Are they just unresponsive and slow? Should I expect to receive my order?

Unresponsive, slow to ship, and orders frequently ship with missing or incorrect items. Once bitten, twice shy. Good luck!

You live in LA county? Go to LAXammo.com. Fast delivery or you could drive there and stock up and save on shipping.

Sounds like if you haven't been charged yet you should cancel your order and make sure they don't try and charge you any bogus restocking fee.

I would cancel oreder and give the business to SGAmmo. They always answer any questions and go above and beyond filling orders.

Botach will eventually cancel it. They are notorious for offering great deals and then canceling orders. Ask me how I know

It sounds as if you've covered yourself. It'll be good to save the fax receipt & copy of the letter; the receipt from the mail (return receipt indicating who signed for it and date); and any other notes of when you've left a voicemail or knocked on their locked door during its business hours.

If you've used a charge card, you've also got some protection. If your card gets charged (whether you receive the product or not) you can contest the charge via your charge card.

I suspect the worst thing which may occur is Botach ships you the ammo and charges your card, at which point you can decide to contest the charge and return the merchandise.

If it was me, I'd just keep the ammo when it arrives and not contest the charge, whenever or if ever the card is charged.

A Botach rep called. He was very apologetic and admitted they are having some problems right now. I'm taken care of now, but apparently they hadn't shipped because they are scared of legal action and are waiting to hear back from the state. So I definitely wouldn't recommend them for ammo orders.

I cancelled my order. I'll check out SG Ammo.
