AR pistol pic. thread closed?
Just curious why it might have been closed...?
Can we start a 2.0? Also is there even a demand for a CA legal AR pistol? Thinking of selling mine since most places wont let me shoot it... |

You can post yours in the for sale sections.
Prices are all over the place. If you are going to try, do it quickly. It needs to DROS and be in possession of purchaser before end of year. And if buyer gets a "delay," you won't have much time to resell. If you can't get the price you want, then keep it. You can always convert it. Change out the buffer tube/spring/ and buffer. Add a stock. Change the barrel to 16 inches, and you now have a rifle. |

There are some AR pistols up between $800-1,600; pricing is much better now compared to earlier this year and everyone knows why. Otherwise just keep it and post a new AR Pistol thread and snap a **** ton of pictures.

OK...still missing something. What panic? National scare about Hillary? That would make prices go up, not down. CA RAW panic? We already know what's coming, so I wouldn't call that a panic. My GUESS is that many people don't want to screw with registering them. That's why I sold my 3 higher end pistols in the $1800-2000 range. However the guys I sold them to were buying them for the exact opposite reason I was selling them...they knew they couldn't be easily acquired next year.
So...again...what's this reason that everyone knows that prices are falling? And are they really falling? I'm not seeing very many higher-end pistols in the marketplace. Guys selling their home-builts and Extars for $1200 are still doing well for themselves.

I think they might be Falling because people are realizing compliances NOT to register and then keep/selling won't be an issue after the years end....

If you do sell SlickmisterN, good luck, if you keep it definitely show it off in the new 2.0 thread! What ranges give you problems? I only go to three ranges, Burro, Angeles, and LAGC, been shooting at those no problem but when I first went to LAGC the first guy told me I need to be law enforcement to have it and I told him no, and a older guy came out and corrected him and told me I was fine to shoot it.

Part of it is panic, which would normally bring up demand which leads up to a higher cost.
It's a niche firearm though, almost like a KSG. Some bought it and realize it's just not for them and they're trying to sell their AR pistol for as much if not more than they paid. Nothing wrong with that but you see them sitting in the marketplace for awhile. You can easily mill out your own and save a ton of money really.
