Normally I'd be with you on this. But in this case, I know for a fact that my local Turners got in the lowers and did not call me when they said that they would. I also doubt they would have ever called me as I think they are too busy to call or they just dropped the ball. In order to make sure I got my lowers, I went in and started DROS on them.

Wasn't able to dros early, went in on Sunday 1/6 and was told that they didn't get a complete shipment in- from the manager at Reseda. Was told that first orders would be fulfilled before the newer orders. Ordered this on 12/19 and find it strange how some have a sn with the dros process started already.

I did ask if I can come in and start dros and was told I needed to wait for a call.

Went down to Turners in Torrance at about 10:30 yesterday (Monday) morning. Guess, what, I Drosed my lower and pick it up on the 17th!!!

Got my LPK from Midway and a 10/20 ranger plate Pmag with ultimate bullet button tool from Thordson Customs in the mail last week. I'm just hunting for a complete upper and stock now.... oh, and ammo.

Jon at Torrance helped me out again, he isn't allowed to DROS his yet, so I guess they are making sure customers have them all first, which is cool, but doesn't make sense if they only sold a certain amount and employee purchases were included.

There was an older gentleman before me asking about the lowers and if they were in, when they would be in, why the salesman didn't know when or why, or how from what it sounded like. The salesman, who I felt so bad for because I'm sure they are just getting totally ripped on by customers and its not their fault, tried to explain it the best he can.

He said they should be there today (Tuesday) or could have been on the truck coming yesterday or on Wednesday. He just didn't know. He wasn't privy to the shipment info. Who knows. But he was pretty sure they'd be there this week and said they will start calling us as they allocate the serial numbers or something. So you can probably expect a call in the next few days.

So, excited, this'll be my first gun purchase.

FV received the lowers. Call to make sure they assigned the serial number just in case.

went into FV Turners today to pick up my M&P15 lower I dros'd on 12/19.

They have the PSA Lowers in. I asked if I could dros one, but unless I had put money down, they are completely sold out.

Say what??? Perhaps they only got a partial shipment in. Are they only starting the DROS in order of deposits then?

Turners Outdoorsman, feel free to chime in anytime.

I was in the Orange store last night. They said serial #'s had been assigned so I can start the DROS process. I'm going down later to start DROS.

FYI the Orange store had at least 3 boxes full of the lowers behind the gun counter so I can confirm they are in at this location. I started DROS today on my lowers.

Haven't received a "your lower is here" call yet. Pre-ordered from San Marcos on 12/27/12.

Yup, "Hunting" does pick up the phone after a couple minutes hold. I called last week about another gun I was interested in. At the end of the phone call, I asked about the PSA lowers: "Not here yet--we'll call when they are."

I got the call today, but I had already started the DROS on the 4th. She wasn't aware of it, but it's probably because we changed the paperwork to my friend's name and he actually started the DROS.

I called Pasadena on Tuesday and was told they hadn't gotten them in just yet but that I could do DROS on them now. So I went in and after the salesman verified with the manager, who said that as long as I ordered it before Dec 28th, it was fine to DROS. I looked at the paperwork and maybe I missed it but I don't think I saw a serial number. And I thought it wasn't needed since the DROS doesn't get saved except in the gun store's books?

i know that as soon as your lower has a serial number your supposed to get a call. But as busy as Turners has been in the past few weeks & that other s here seem to be getting their PSA lowers in, it wouldn't hurt to be proactive & give your store a call to see if your lower is in.

When I went in to dros today, I don't think they even asked me if I got a phone call.
