Thumbs up Glock to produce OD frames again

UPDATE 4/16/2013 ---> http://us1.campaign-archive1.com/?u=...2&e=e847eb1b81

Heard on Glock Talk: AMCHAR is doing a limited number OD run with GLOCK (just like Lipsey's did with the FDE). Lots of models in gens 3 and 4.

Look for them to be showing up sometime in May.

From what I heard directly from them is that the following models were going to be available...

G17
G17G4
G19
G19G4
G26
G26G4
G34
G34G4

G22
G22G4
G23
G23G4
G27
G27G4
G35
G35G4

G32

G21SF
G21G4

G20SF
G29SF

This is good news.

Haha! Now the FDE versions will be the more sought after down the road

Don't they need to get caught up on regular production first?

small runs like this are always negotiated with glock usa for some sense of exclusivity. if your into it, great. but for many, it is simply a tool and not really worth the premium price.

But will the gen 3s be on the roster? You know kommiefornia says a color change may make a gun unsafe so they need to test one just to be sure the new color won't grow legs and start shooting on its own.

I saw this coming, with the success of the DE models and high price on used OD's why wouldn't they. Like them or not makes perfect business since for Glock and the distributer, expect more DE also.

Great news if true. A bit of variety, especially when it comes to Glocks, is a welcome thing.

The Ocular discomfort is worth it, because they run so much better than the EBG's.

I know the page said last night, if all the pre-orders are sold out, the item will no longer be visible.

There's no way they could all sell out in less than a day. Someone call Glockmeister quick!

Oh no! This is going to break the hearts of everyone who is asking $900 for their OD Glocks. Not fair!

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would bump this one up.

I've noticed that the OD Glocks are starting to pop for up sale now, mostly on gunbroker, but assume some ca dealers might start selling them soon.

So if you were looking for one, might want to ask your local dealer if they are getting any or try gunbroker...

Actually on gunbroker the prices are pretty reasonable similar to the FDE Glocks and then the prices started going up as time went on...

It lets me pre-order again on the glockmeister website, as well?
Are these even on the CA roster?

Glock Gen 3 OD are on the roster. They will swap out the magazines for 10 rounders if not exempt.

I have not been this excited about a new product since I heard LuLu Lemon was making see through yoga pants for women.

Glockmeister has been taking orders for them for a while: http://www.glockmeister.com/GLOCK-Ol...partments/162/

On the "tool" versus "toy" thing, some of my weapons are tools, but most are just toys. OK there, I said it!

I always need another 20/29, always.

there seem to be quite a few on gunbroker and prices are very reasonable. i just ordered a G4 Glock 19 and 21 in OD for $605 after shipping. obviously there's tax, dros, and sse on top of that. i see another G21 for $570 and the guy ships to CA. Somebody go get it...

I saw that G21 auction also and I am pretty tempted...Prices on Gunbroker seem to be better than Glockmeister also...
