Default PSAK-47 GB2 build kit

http://palmettostatearmory.com/psak-...516444672.html

Are you guys going to ship these out to CA FFL's? Or are we SOL?

this is what they said on ak files......

"If I had to guess, there won't be an issue. We don't have anything listed in the Terms and Conditions in regards to the shipment of build kits to your state."

Not sure what happened. I was on hold for 35mins this morning asked if the build kits came out and would they ship to a FFL in CA. I was told they sold out and no by the rep, he asked the compliance dept and they also said no. Something about company policy and that a new list was going out company wide regarding which items can't be sold to CA residents. I asked the rep it's not a complete lower, still no.

It's possible the Terms and Conditions will be updated in the coming months, but at this time, it doesn't state anything otherwise. I'd be willing to bet when they're listed, if they're not CA compliant, there will be a banner notation stating they're not for sale in your state.

Just from assuming, I'd imagine they won't be, just because our complete AKs cannot be sent in a standard sale.

Im confused, so your saying WHEN they are listed and because the complete rifles cant be shipped to ca these most likely wont either?
They already are listed and i ordered one days ago and there is no banner warning. The complete rifles in the configuration you sell them is not ca compliant thats cut and dry , but the build kits are 100% compliant and legal shouldnt be an issue.

It looks like you all are good to go with the build kits. I'll try to get some clarification in regards to this passed around the CS office.

Effective December 14th 2016, due to recent changes in California law, Palmetto State Armory will no longer be able to ship “assault weapons” to the state of California. This includes all complete lowers, complete rifles, and AK style firearms, regardless of caliber. This also includes firearms of similar style manufactured by other companies.
Federal Firearms License holders are NOT an exception to this rule. If you are not a Law Enforcement Officer with the required documentation, your order will be cancelled in 5 business days if not resolved beforehand.
If you are a Law Enforcement Officer with the intent to use this weapon in the line of duty, please provide a copy of your credentials and a letter on department letterhead signed by your department's superior officer stating that the firearm will be used for duty purposes. PSA only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as LEOs. Additionally, any LEO must have this item shipped to an FFL that has a Dangerous Weapon Permit on file with us.

This order has been cancelled.

Can someone from Palmetto explain how a barrelled lower is a complete lower? It doesn't have the trigger group or stock.

You are wasting your breath. They don't care about us CA gun owners. Spend your money elsewhere.

I ordered one and it was shipped today. Maybe they changed policy on this barreled receiver.
