Default Price check? Ruger Single Six .22LR/Mag

I have a Ruger single six that has an engraving on the barrel from the factory stating "Made in the 200th year of american liberty" (1976)
Serial starts off 64-4
The wood is in good condition with only one noticible dent in the grip.
Has both the .22LR and .22Mag cylinders

Based off the condition in the photos what would be a ball park figure on the gun?

I've seen some with both cylinders being listed for around 6 if i recall correctly, and those were not anniversary editions, they were newer blued (listed for not necessarily sold for)

I wouldn't say a Single Six is a collectors item. That said, it is a great gun, I have had several, and own one now.
These are not $600 guns. Maybe $400+. I paid $425 for one with box, cylinder, ect... Was older, but still New Model (NM).

EDIT: I was talking Blued guns. Yours is stainless. So $500+.

According to Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values, 37th edition, your Single Six Convertible stainless steel is worth $400 in 90% condition, $325 in 80% condition and $270 in 70% condition.

Your pictures are not very clear, so condition is hard to determine, but from what I see, looks like a $300 gun to me. I just sold a new in box 50th Anniversary edition for $425...

Yeah cellphone pictures are the best, over all clean, very well maintained.. no deep gouges in the metal but of course there are slight rub marks..

http://www.firearmspriceguide.com/guns/search/ruger/140

It says the 50th was Blued also.....

BTW - I don't put much stock in books or "pricing" websites WRT to prices.....
Gunbroker or even better CALGUNS prices are best indication..

He doesn't have an anniversary edition, I must have lead that by saying anniversary in my post, I meant it as special edition rather than anniversary
I was also simply saying It seems I've been seeing the single six listed for around 600 lately, it really surprised me to see that price

Put it up, and if you want it sold fast put it for 300 or less, (less=faster), but that's probably just me lowballing because I don't need another one, lol, but really, I already have a single six, so the only way I would buy another would be for less than 300, and not even sure I would then, so that's why I say 300 or less

Hell, if the scratches are minor and the gun is clean, start it at $400....

You never know.....

Yeah, I caught it.

I just tried to sell a rifle for a decent, fair price. Gad, the lowballers an dumbasses were offering me half what I had it at.

How many 30-30 lever action rifles you see for $375 ? Well I got offers for $200, trades for complete crap... So I pulled it. Life is too short.

These were only made in 1976 to commemorate the United States Bicentennial. I have the blued version I bought new that year.

I would think they could attract a little more than the average Single Six, JMHO.

So, where are you located and what is your asking price? I may want to add a stainless companion to my blued version.

Located in Rancho Cucamonga, not sure on asking price just yet.. will be posting this upcoming week. But for those interested, when it is posted I think more than anything i'd love to trade for other firearms.
Pistols: Sigs, glocks, walthers, H&K, or something interesting / hard to find.
Rifles: Lever action, bolt action, etc... no AR-featurless

Of course +/- cash on either end to make things fair

Ill be posting the gun this Friday for those parties interested. PM me

What the hell. If all of us did trolling like this, nothing would get sold. I sold 2 guns last week.

Do you homework, figure a price, and sell it. Or not, but none of this trolling for price. And it is not a 50th Anniversary Issue.

Didn't Ruger stamp all guns made in '76 with the bicentennial designation?
Nothing special really.
