Default Just picked up my savage B mag and mounted some new glass...

Now I need some help finding a lower end scope with either mil dots or some form of bdc. I mainly use Kentucky windage. I have always hated messing with my scopes zero.

I was thinking about the bsa 17 super mag scope but I really don't like that it doesn't have any compensation in the reticle for windage. Im also looking for a scope that has a minimum of 12x magnification BTW.

I really don't know where to start. I'm trying to spend as little money as possible since this is going to be for a cheap rifle. It's mostly going to see range use for the next year but will eventually see some coyote duty so I don't want anything overly crappy. I just want to be able to hit what I'm aiming at doesn't need to look like I'm staring through competition grade glass... and I'm not expecting that for this rifle at all...

So what's your price range besides BSA top grade?

You can't really beat a Nikon. I have a few.

Here's one that won't break the bank that meets your criteria.

I have a 3-9 nikon prostaff mounted on my .223 Baikal mp18. It's been on a bunch of other guns before is going to stay put on that rifle.

Nikon defiantly is ony radar.

Believe it or not, these cheap UTG mildot scopes get pretty good reviews:

They have a 30mm tube and something over 3" eye relief, plus adjustable objective.

They have the compact version as well.

Check some of the write-ups and YouTube reviews.

She ended up liking the B mag (the way it looks) so I was able to get away with it.

Good woman. Mine's like that, but she would want one for herself too. So, buy twice, cry twice...

Very good woman with very odd tastes. Hates stainless pistols. But loves the b mag with craptastic plastic stock (which I plan on bedding and reinforcing before I resort to buying a new stock).

Well I managed to get an insane deal on some great glass. I got a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40mm mil dot reticle scope for $150. The box was beat but the scope had never been mounted on anything before.

Wow, no compromising there! That's less than half price, and it has the side focus. Congratulations.

Forgot to mention that the Harris bipod the bmag is sitting on was thrown in for free along with another Nikon prostaf 3-9x40. And an OLD broken redfield 4.5-14x scope.

ALL FOR $150

I think I just got the best deal I'm ever going to get on anything for the rest of my life.

Uh, when you tell your wife the story, I advise that you say it's the second best deal you're ever going to get.
Hint: the answer to her next obvious question is "You are honey."

Too fulgly with the contour of the scope. I decided to leave it off. Going to see if they have one of those honeycomb looking anti glare device things...
