Default .22 Ammo

The good old days. I used to collect bottles on the side of the road as a kid in Tennessee just to get $.87. I could go to Walmart and either buy a Hot Wheels car or a box of 50 .22 shells, $.87 with tax.

Ah, the memories! I have a brick of Wildcats in my dad's safe, I'll have to see if I can find the picture. Bought them at K-Mart in the 80's.

How long ago was it? I understand that they were much cheaper. The difference might not be much after you account for inflation.

The Hot Wheels cars are now $0.97, but ammo has gone up a little more.

.22LR is up, permanently. It's got me more into my AR-47 with that ammo at under 20 cents.
