Default First Day as a CCW

It felt good knowing i have something to protect me and my family. Yesterday i ran errands, went out to lunch with my family and kids. I did the appedix carry the whole day using the vanguard 2 setup and i gotta say i like the setup however i need to get use to carrying it appendix style while driving. I had to move it around at times but i guess that comes with the territory. Other than that it was a great feeling. By the way i carried chambered lol for those who read my last post about not chambering.

Default Carrying

Congratulations!!! I still remember my first time carrying. Felt very odd, but you get used to it. Now, it feels odd to be without it.

Carry as often as you can as you truly never know when you will need it. Unfortunately, I recently discovered this first hand.

Also, always carry with one in the pipe. There's simply no good reason not too.

You must do your version of the Walmart Walk.
Btw, Congratulations!

Congrats!

Remember to carry always and know the difference between can't and frowned at. Concealed means concealed!

I never understood the whole Walmart thing. I always figured around these parts, that ritual was more of a thing over on that other (nameless) forum. Nachos, all that, videotaping it and putting it up on YouTube--not something I'd do. Don't get me wrong--whatever floats yer boat. First time I carried in a retail establishment, IIRC, was when I went to Kohl's to buy a long shirt. Turns out I never needed all the long shirts I bought, since I almost exclusively pocket carry.

And congratulations. I should've started with that.

So, you fail to ID your carry weapon. From your sig line, if it was the Rem 887, I understand the un-comfort.

Yes, the nacho idea was stupid, and the true test of the LTC theory is not how many carry on the first day but how many carry ever after, at all times possible.

I too pocket carry. It limits my capacity, but maximizes my ability.

Congratulations. In the first couple of weeks, you'll be doing a lot of "adjusting".

Good for you OP!
Your transition to sheepdog is complete.
BTW, I see a large collection of holsters in your future.

After a while you will feel neked and totally vulnerable with out your carry piece.
