Crosman DPMS Panther
Anyone have one? They came out this year I believe. Full or semi auto BB Gun. 25 round mag seems a little lacking. But should be a fun little thing anyway it looks like.
Ordered one and was wandering what you thought if you own one. Thanks |

- very fun shooter, esp in full auto - all controls function the same as real ar15 except for dummy forward assist - pic rails seem to be correct spec for reg firearm accessories (i put on a few bits and pieces i had laying around collecting dust. - speed loader that comes with gun is finicky/plunger keeps binding - weight is on par with the real thing, which is nice - pistol grip can be replaced with any standard ar15 grip - overall i like it a lot; will use it to get trigger time in the garage *note: After running around 12-14 mags worth of bbs (4 CO2 cartridges-magazine holds 2) the mags stopped holding the CO2 seal. Got a replacement from Turners yesterday and today, I just went through roughly the same amount mags (4 CO2 cartridges) and it's still gtg. Maybe the first mag i had was the exception, not the rule - we'll see... **note: with all the negative experiences ppl here have written about Turner's, I have to say I have had nothing but good experiences at the Signal Hill location since the late 1990's, the latest example being this no-hassle replacement of the entire bb rifle, when all that I asked for was a replacement magazine. It probably depends on the store you go to.

also, I am using this as my bb trap, and it works great!
https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2015...t-pellet-trap/ basically, it's rubber mulch in a cardboard box, sealed with packaging tape...no more ricochets.

Thanks Soop
Received it Friday. shot about 7 mags through it so far. Everything great so far. Kinda fun. The felt recoil is a nice touch. My speedloader was a little hard operating at first also. I read to run some Hornandy coated BBs through it first to break it in. I did and it works great now. I can load the mag in about 5 seconds. I have read by many the speedloader is useless, just has not been the case for me, just need to learn to hold the mag and the loader correctly, and break it in.. And it works fantastic. |

Pulled mine apart to lube it according to the Crosman manual and now when I go to pull the charging handle, it only moves about a quarter of an inch rearwards. I'm going to call Crosman tomorrow but figured I'd ask here in case someone had a idea as to what I did wrong in reassembly.

DOH! Had the rearmost part of the bolt assembly in backasswards. On a side note, a call to Crosman was a total waste of time. Was told they had no Technical phone support and just to send it in for repair - WTF?

Got the hornady black diamonds and it works like a champ. I can really waste ammo with this thing. I like it much more than my sig mpx pellet gun. It is amazing fun.
