He looks like one of those Kumbaya types in 'King of the Hill'. I know he's wearing skinny jeans or bike shorts. It was funny.

In the vids he's pretending to be a cross between Jeff Cooper, Dean Grinell, and maybe a generic 1980s "Outdoorsman" from Field and Stream. Both sarcasm and irony are common these days. Not everyone gets that Seinfeld stuff. tipoc |

That was good and it makes sense. I'm still of the mindset that 9mm is best and you can work towards smaller calibers if that is all you can conceal. Something is better than nothing. But, that is IMHO and YMMV.

Was funny to see the bullets "fall off" the target he shot with the girly gun... LMAO

In the video "Maybe I was wrong about..." the Lucky Gunner spokesperson is speaking in his actual persona. The earlier vids making fun of the 9mm were joke videos for fun.
In this video he admits that he was wrong about smaller caliber handguns (less than 9mm) for self defense. To him, he explains, this a is a new idea that bucks "conventional wisdom". But this is not true that it bucks conventional wisdom. Conventional wisdom is that it's better to have a gun than not and often that means a small pocket or "vest pocket" gun in a smaller caliber than 9mm. This guy often irritates me in this regard. His experience is limited but he is unaware of that as he is an "expert". Maybe it's a sign I've gotten older. You choose the gun and the caliber to the job you have it do. Sometimes that means a small piece in a small caliber. These guns have been popular in this country for decades and will continue to be. tipoc |
