Any leads on 80% lowers?
I've been scouring this (and other forums) to get ready to do my first AR build. I have a pretty good idea of what I want, which includes custom engraving on the lower.
So, I am looking for a raw 80% lower (forged or billet), that doesn't have ANY engraving on it. I plan to have it engraved, then mill it out, then anodize it. Any tips/leads/suggestions? I don't want to have my pants pulled completely down over the price and back ordering is fine, provided I can get this century. Thanks!

I got one from elemental arms during fathers day sale. I think it was about 130 shipped. Looks and works great. I just don't like the bolt release pin and screw. But the lower was perfect and lpk fit perfect. They shipped sameday i paid.I would buy another one bit I'm broke.

Take a look at these. $70 each. Might be more like a 90% since the rear step is already milled out. I bought some a couple weeks ago. LPK fit good. Upper was nice and tight. Magwell was broached perfect. All mags released. In spec as far as i could tell.

I have 2 anodized 80% lowers that I bought in the AIMSMALL group buy. I would sell them for what I paid, I think it was $210 for both? I'm in Antioch.

Go to the commercial forum on this site. There are several advertising. I bought 2 anodized from DIY Armory, he also has plain. Or try CNCMILLGUY. He is near Modesto and has plain 80's and will teach and rent you time on his mill to finish. Once you look at that forum you'll see that you have many choices. I also have Polymer 80's on order. There are a couple of vendors for those aas well. Check out the Phantomfinisher posts as they will engrave as well.
