Need help with my next purchase
I've currently got a marlin 60 on deposit at turners. When it gets in, i'm going to add another 22lr rifle to the dros. I was planning on the 795 because the price is great bang for buck. but now that turners is advertising the ruger american rimfire i kind of want that instead. it'll cost me an extra $100 though.
i'm trying to get a 22lr rifle for everyone in the house so when the kids (3 of them) are older, nobody has to wait for their turn. i currently have a 10/22, a marlin 925 bolt, and a crickett (with an adult stock to upgrade to when the kids outgrow the little one). eventually i'll pick up a lever action 22 just for kicks, and when my dad passes away-hopefully in a long, long time-i'll get his childhood 10/22. but until then, what say you calguns, another semi auto or a third bolt action?

He heh... I voted the American rimfire because I don't have a bolt action and I have plenty of 10/22 mags.
But if I was in your situation, I would keep the marlin 795 specially if you got it at that big sale on them at Turners. |

i don't have the 795 yet. i'm waiting until my 60 comes in so i can put them on the same DROS. i've been waiting on my 60 for a month now, apparently they're hard to get.
