Default The Long Overdue Saiga 12 Picture thread!

Here we go. Post up some pictures of your version of the baddest zombie slayer shotgun out there! If there has already been one then I appologize. I looked all over but I couldn't find one.

Here's mine. So far I have kept it pretty simple.
Carolina Shooter supply conversion kit w/ AK stock and hogue grip upgrade.
($146)
AGP 10 rd magazine ($20 ea.)
I am planning on buying a new handguard, a different bullet button, and I'm trying to decide which muzzle brake to go with.

Let's see yours!!

Haven't taken any recent pictures. Here's mine right before I put the FCG in.

Thanks! The buttstock wasn't bad, just needed a small shave to clear the rivet holes where the original FCG was. PG went right in. The HG was a pain in the butt lol. It needed to be enlarged to fit the bigger barrel.

Yeah, I had to remove the upper HG until I decide I want to get the AK-style sights.

nah. looks to be his girlfriend/wife's sink

My Saiga 12 I picked up on monday. Nothing fancy aside from the basic conversion, polished hammer and reliability mod. Now I need to get me a drum!

OK cool. Thanks again. And this 7.5" Ace Skeleton stock is ok to use too you think? As long as it doesn't fold right?

As I just found out (the hard way - halfway through my 922r conversion), the usual AK type maglocks won't work.

I ordered a Solar Tactical maglock but I haven't heard anything from them since my order last week... I've since been told by Greg at CSS that his CA maglock will also work with most conversion trigger guards, including the Tromix and CSS parts, and is $15 less...

That mag lock won't work with the CSS trigger guard. I had that one when I got my S-12. That is the reason I went with the Solar Tac. Call Solar Tac. I know when I bought mine they were on back order,

This is mine before I chopped the barrel.

After the chop, it's legal without the stock. I had to pull the barrel to chop and turn the barrel down. The stock will be reinstalled after I finish the paint and clean up the welds.

That thing isn't finished yet. I made that brake and as it sits the overall length is 28.5 ". That gun really has close to zero practical use unless your killing zombies or clearing rooms. Of course there is the whole fun factor.
