Bone stock '08. My 1911 collection is just beginning but the CBOB is definitely the best looking so far.

My CBOB is also 08 but with the new changes including the front strap checkering. It's also got a good amount of gap in the grip safety but all is well with shooting, except with cheaper ammo and mags.

Heres my Springfield Loaded. Its my first 1911, and I am very happy with it! Changed out the guide rod and plug, and am planning on adding a S&A magwell and some new grips in the near future. Down the road I'd like to send it to the custom shop for front strap checkering etc, but we will see what happens!

My newest addition. 1 year wait on getting this one. I grew up going into his store and ogling his guns. Now I own one.

Yes that says CHOW ( I need to attend to the gun once it is in my hands, 9 days and counting)

Serial # and box match

Bob and his wife would go to Coyote Point and ruin the center of their targets while the rest of us just wasted ammo. He is sorely missed.

Don't know if you guys consider Para P14's as 1911s? I do intend to get another 1911.....but this will do for now.
Just finish a photoshoot yesterday, so I thought I show one off........

Great pictures.

I consider Para's 1911 but then I consider STI's and SV's 1911's too.

Thanks for the comment and noticing.

I have one friend that told me Para's double stack aren't 1911s.......but it was "only" that one friend.

I told her to put her finger on the trigger just so it can add some dramatic feel and also give the photo some character. "Please don't attemp unless it's very carefully measured." It was also kind of scary because the hammer is "cocked", haha .
I won't use airsoft as photo props, because it's just not the real deal. This model "Cristina" is great because she loves guns and looks great in pictures.
I need to do a little more "logic-table" training with her, because she just turn 18 and very fresh in the firearm world.

Okay, last 1911 picture for me until I can get some of my buddies 1911 to do other shoots.

I would open carry anyday, just too scare to put my feet in the water. But then again, California is too diverse. People just don't understand how to be nice to each other.

NRAhighpowershoot.......that is very impressive. My friends kept dragging me to their IPSC events. I'll start shooting the day we all chip in of a Dillion or any kind of re-loading device.

Oh and Thanks the comment "Exiledviking"

Here is the High Standard 1911A1 (Armscor) that I recently took in trade from radioburning.

I think I’ll keep it.

Here is my contribution... My Kimber Pro CDP II. IMO, a perfect carry 1911.
