Default Squirrel Hunting Land In/Around Fresno?

I grew up helping control squirrels on a buddies ranch land with .22's. He has long since moved out of the area, and I have two boys now that I want to introduce to the sport. Problem is, I don't know of any "accessible" ranch land anywhere near.

We are super respectful and cautious, but I certainly understand people's fear of letting strangers on their land.

Any leads you could help me with?

Thanks much!

Try field mice. I learned from my dad with a Savage 22 taking out all the field mice around our shop land. They usually are in droves coming out at sundown looking for food. It helped me to learn trigger discipline and aim with moving targets. Small, filthy, fast moving targets.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

No one gives up their access or locations to hunting properties. Sometimes takes years to get access. Go out and start asking farmers.
