@fireblast713 I am not aware of any other lists being run by anyone, yet. If someone posts it or shares one I'll update the thread to send people over there. I've seen 3 people or so talking about it but none of them started a list that I know of.

One of ours was supposed to be delivered today. Delivery company was a no show. They aren't answering phones or returning calls. Called Sturdy and they said "we're not sure, the delivery co isn't answering our calls...they are fired." We're hoping it shows tomorrow or Sturdy will need to make another safe for us.

Dollar- how did you find the build status of yours?

Hopi, I emailed them and asked what the status was.

Also, how are you getting yours shipped? I'm planning on getting mines delivered to a company near me (recommended by Sturdy) and having them deliver and unload/install the safe. This knocked off $50 off the shipping from sturdy, and the other company will charge $200 + bolting (when I called and asked them). I didn't want to risk having having some random delivery team just come and drop off the 1500+lb safe in the front.

This one is a smaller safe and was to be delivered straight to the final location. I'm getting another very large safe for another location delivered to a buddy's warehouse and we are going to use a forklift to move it into place.

This is the first qualify safe I have every bought. Figure I might as well get the right one the first time. I ended up going with the biggest they have.

60"W 28"D 72"H - GUN SAFE - MODEL 6028-6
Heavy Metal ($770)
Twin Lock System - Twin Spin Dials ($245)
#3 Customized interior ($200)
Standard Rack
Dark Grey and Black
Fire liner ($945)
4 hand gun hangers ($20)
Dri Rod ($36)

Thanks again, Tor, for making this happen. Can't wait to get this thing.

I had not heard from them since November so I called them today. They said the finished painting several safes, of which one is mine, and they have many waiting for finishes (dials, handles, shelves and such). Said mine should ship in a week or so. Alyssa said there were still (10) Calguns safes to be delivered.

I know how many safes were in our group buy. Anyone happen to ask Sturdy how many safes they sold total in the group buy? Just curious how many they had to produce.

Got a voicemail today that my safe is ready to be shipped out. Need to call them back tomorrow to work out the details.

Anyone have a lead on a reputable safe mover/installer in the North Bay Area region?

Still no call for mine yet. Called about 3 weeks ago and they said it just got painted.

Anyone want to post pictures of their beautiful steel boxes to stave off my hunger.

Delivered mine today. Didn’t have much time to check it over but everything seems to be exactly as I expected.

Got mine today too. Looks awesome! I was going to move it with friends but looking at it now it's a little intimidating knowing it weighs 1800lbs. Not sure we can scoot that weight into position.

Any recommendations for a mover in Sacramento area. It only needs to travel 4' from pallet to final resting place.

Mine was delivered yesterday. This safe is impressive, and huge. I’m really glad I didn’t go for the 60” wide version as I couldn’t have fit it in my 68” wide space. I had some paint damage on a couple corners that overhung the edges of the pallet, but nothing some touch up paint can’t fix. I requested a standard rack with one less bar for more space, so I got 5 rifle beams and a capacity of 33 rifles. With everything spaced out it really will hold 33 rifles. I added a Craftsman 16” deep middle chest on the floor to raise up the three races where I put the AR rifles and such, with a wood shelf on top of it I’m pleased with the results.

The 1790 pounds is no joke, made my old 780 pound safe feel like a kids toy. Even with a set of proper safe jacks it took my buddy and I a couple hours to get it off the pallet and positioned inside my mud room off the garage. There is no way I would’ve used the methods in the video for this monster with just two of us. Once in position I (6’5” 330#) could barely rock the safe back enough to get a small board out from under the front, ended up using pry bars. I will likely pay someone to move this or sell it with the house and order another.

Used these guys 6 months ago. They were awesome! Strange thing is, they were in Fairfield (and came down to the East Bay) but now Yelp shows them in carson city, NV. Might be worth a call to see if they still spend time in a Sac.

Thanks. I was going to rent some roll-a-lifts for about $70 bucks a day but found guy locally so I went with them. Took two guys about an hour to install.

I am immensely pleased with my safe. Glad I changed my order and went big with the 6028. I have too look really hard to find any damages in the paint. There are a few pin specks here and there missing paint but nothing I can atribute to shippomg damage

I'm interested in another smaller safe for the next group buy.

I didn't take part in the group buy (missed it by a few days), but I have to say I'm very happy with my Sturdy safe. I bought the smallest model (the cube), it weights 350 pounds. Lucky for me they delivery guy put the pallet in my garage. So all I had to do was get it off the pallet and steer it into the right place. I used 4 PVC pipes to get the job done; worked like a charm.

But somehow I doubt that technique is gonna work for most of you (most people seem to be getting much bigger and heavier safes).

Mine arrived today. Perfect condition and exactly as ordered. I made some changes to my original order prior to them completing the safe and let them know I was in no hurry to get it. It's gonna live at my mountain cabin and I need to wait for spring thaw to get it up there.

This thing is a BEAST!!!! I thought my Liberty Presidential was a good quality safe. The Sturdy is far and away made of heavier gauge steel. I added heavy steel package, so it is even more secure.

Don't hesitate to buy from these nice folks!!!!!!!!!

Yeah so my 60” arrived last week. It’s currentky sitting about 4 feet from its final
Resting place on the palet. Needs to get over a small door threshold in order to be put in place.

None of the videos I’ve watched seem to use techniques that I can employ for this 60” 2,100 lb safe.

I think I need to open the phone book. How much should I expect to pay to have it moved?

Would you guys bother bolting down a 60” 2,100 lbs safe?
