Most of the shotguns in this thread, while nice, look as if they have never been fired. Accessories and gadget add-ons are nice, but unless folks actually shoot these scatterguns and get familiar with manipulation of the weapon, they might as well just have a bat or golf club.

I do have a "tactical" 870 as well. It has seen a good amount of rounds through it. It is an older 870 Express Magnum I bought about 15 years ago. My only grip with this SG is the lock mechanism in the safety that requires the key. I have been meaning to remove that and put a regular oversized safety.

Knoxx recoil reducing stock
Hogue rubber foregrip
Elzetta side light mount with Surefire light
Mesa Tactical shell carrier
Wilson Combat mag spring and follower

Yup...its solid and grippy (comfortable). I did notice the screws on the kit coming loose around that area. I went ahead and put some blue loctite pretty much everywhere.

Need to take it to the range now that I did that and added some flip up sights. I'm pretty sure the loctite will hold but just need to be sure....as well as confirm zero on the fixed sights.
