Default My very silly C&R pig depredation rifle

Take a 1952 MAS 36, an Eotech 552, a Surefire light, an S&K mount and an L rail, and you've got this crazy rifle sitting next to the door.

Very silly-looking, but very deadly to the pigs that might soon be threatening my garden and beehives - lots of walnuts and acorns this year. A few of them found out the hard way last winter.

Maybe I should even extend the bayo when I go depredation on their asses.

Shooting pigs with a French rifle seems about right!

You're right. I guess I could fit it in the bayo tube.

Looks like it'll do the job. Would love to come up and help you out for a weekend.

Heheh, this made me smile. So how do those wild pigs taste compared to the store bought bacon?

Forget the bayonet - you don't want to get that close to a live piggie.

No bacon on wild pigs - unless you find yourself a very pregnant sow or a big fat one. It's rare. Meat is leaner, but still very tasty.

Saw lots of evidence they are back in the hood. They are mostly nocturnal, so I will have to seek them out, or wait for them to trash my garden and hives at night (and I sure hope they won't be).

That is honestly one of the coolest setups I have seen in some time; that is what a rifle with a job looks like. I have been contemplating the mixture of holo/red-dot sights and bolt action rifles for some time and this adds fuel to the fire.

Oh cool. Not being a hunter, I always wondered how wild pig meat was.

If I could, I'd offer to go over and help you out with my Enfield in a heart beat. I've been wanting to harvest me some hogs!
