I got my "American Rifleman" magazine today. It has my ballot! Never got one of those before. I somehow feel more "special." My mom always said I was "special." Maybe she, and the Olympic Committee, were right.

Woo-hoo! Converted from annual member to Life Member. They also gave me a direct phone number (I went through their regular 2000 number to make sure it wasn't an internet scam - no offense:0 )) That phone number is 800-672-3888. Gonna call some friends since the $300 special ends Thursday.

How long does it take to receive the card these days? I joined about a month ago and so far all I've seen is a lot of emails. No magazine (I signed up for the online version) either.

Edit: I was on hold with the NRA for 50 minutes...boy are they busy! I was told it takes about 6-8 weeks for the membership cards to be mailed out.

For anybody wanting the $300.00 Life membership I posted a link in deals & coupons. It is good until 04/16/13. NRA needs the support right now and you get the life membership for far less than normal. Win Win

I was already an annual member and I upped to lifetime a few weeks ago.

I haven't received a confirmation yet, but the last magazine I received says "LIFE" on the address box where it used to have my membership expiration date.

Great deal. Very proud to be a lifetime member.

Thanks for posting this and big thanks to all NRA members.

I upgraded my life membership to Patron Life. I wonder if they are gonna add another one above that. Considering they are the most feared lobby in Washington, I have no problem contributing to them. I think everybody should send NRA and CRPA a donation from time to time. It doesn't have to be much, $5 to $10, but if everybody did, we could get rid of some of the freedom hating people like Diane Feinstein and Leland Yee.

Too bad I missed this thread. Found a link online last night, and upgraded my membership to Life ($300). Logged into my account a few minutes later and it did change to say "Type: Life" in my Membership info area.
