Default Ruger SR 22 Pistol

Excited, just picked up my sr 22 pistol for my son to take and do a class with. Was able to find a 4.5" barrel rather than the shorter barreled pistol. Picked up a holster and mag holders for it. Just need to get a couple more magazines and he will be set. Looking forward to taking it to the range this weekend.

Excellent 22 I regret selling mine. Make sure the screw under the trigger is nice and tight if it gets hand loose your accuracy will blow and you wont know why.

Very fun .22 to shoot.

My wife thinks it is hers.

I agree such a great gun! Just gotta make sure you have a good grip though. My son fought it a bit when he was younger, his wrist just wasn’t strong enough. No issues now though.

Bought one for the Wife when they first came out. She really likes it. I just bought her a Stainless Ruger MkIII Target also. That seems very nice also.

Putting a Venom Red Dot reflex sight on that one. Should be a nice setup.

I bought one before they dropped off as well. Its a great little pistol and my son loves it. It does have the issue where the pin in the frame chews up the slide. Just nervous about sending to to Ruger for warranty and then having problems getting it back being off roster...

As long as Ruger doesn't have to replace the part of the frame that has the serial #, pretty much anything else can be replaced and the gun returned. It's an easy gun to work on if you want to do a bit of amateur gunsmithing as well. Ruger is good if you need parts - I had to replace a malformed mag release that was only working from one side, they got me the part, no problem.

I got one for the wife, had to buy a couple more so the rest of the family could get a chance to shoot the SR! Eats anything, shoots accurately, and will require you to increase your ammo budget! About as fun as a gun gets, and the kids will eventually inherit 'em!
