Default Vallejo area FFL for PPT

I'm meeting a fellow Calgunner in the Vallejo area to do a PPT (Browning Silver Hunter).

Anyone have input or suggestions on where to go?

Thanks in advance!

Is Triple A worth the price though? I just bought a Ruger GP100 at, and Triple A wants $125 total for transfer and DROS whereas some others want less, but the others are in American Canyon and Martinez, not in Vallejo in other words. It's going to ship from a shop in Iowa, so it's not a PPT. Someone here also recommended Kevin Smith in Martinez.

This will be my first transfer and handgun so that I will also have to get the certificate, another $25. The other modern firearm I own is a Remington shotgun, an 870 purchased at Big-5. I do also belong to the NRA.

Anyway, funds are a bit tight so that I'd like to keep the price down. What about Mathew Kearns in American Canyon as well? Kevin Smith, Mathew Kearns, and Bob Marazzani, the latter of Bobs Guns in Martinez, all want $50 plus DROS fee ($25).

Thanks in advance.

AAA can get busy at times and overall is a good shop. Sometimes a little pricey but it's in stock.

As far as transfers you can check cordelia gun exchange. They are near scandia and are a forum vendor too.

As far as in the Vallejo area, Triple A is the place to go. I believe they charge the standard $35 for DROS for PPT.

ReadyVallejo is talking about a FFL to FFL Transfer and not FTF PPT which is sounds like you are doing.
