Looking for a gun safe...
As the title suggests, my collection of firearms is slowly growing. Thought it might be a good time to get a safe. Currently. 3 pistols, shotgun and an AR is what my collection consist. But planning to get another AR, maybe an AR-10 platform, another shotgun (Mossberg or Benelli next) and, of course, will get 2-3 more 1911s and CZs when they show up at LGS.
I'm looking for a decent size safe and a store that is willing to deliver it. ANy suggestions within the confines of the Bay Area would be great...

Costco bighorn safes are hard to beat for the money. Local AmSec dealers would give you a good deal on a widebody 48 long gun safe (which really holds about 15-18 comfortably.) Those are great safes. I love my 500lb 24 longgun safe from Winchester (granite security products) and its been a rock star. If you want a truly break-in resistant safe, look at others with more steel, more of a backing, and 3 times as much money give or take.

Bought mine through "thesafeplace.com" they aren't bay area, but they did deliver into my garage.
Everything is a compromise... do you know what you expect with respect to price, fire rating, steel thickness, dimensions, type of lock, American made, etc.? If the bay area is key, Liberty Safe is in San Jose. |

Thanx for the recommendations, fellas... I'll call up Liberty tomorrow during my lunch break. And maybe, pass by over the weekend. Delivery would be great, but my friend would more the willing for us to use his Raptor to transport it. Just need to find out which best fits my condo.
The plan is to use wall studs as a slab foundation wouldn't be feasible for my condo. I, also, would have to plan out getting any safe into the condo without generating too much attention from my neighbors. The less they know the better for me. Going to have a hard decision tomorrow... either jail a SA M1A SOCOM or a SA 1911 TRP Operator (half rail - armory kote).
