Default Vepr AK Rifle Atlantic Firearms.com

We are proud to announce the Russian Vepr AK rifles are now being imported into the US and we will be offering these in 762 x 39 , 308 , 5.45x 39 and 762 x 54R . Availibilty will be limited and not all calibers will be imedaiately avaible . These will be offered in the base Russian format and in a few weeks we will have Vepr rifles converted by Red Jacket Firearms.

New Vepr Made in Russia Hunting /target rifle in traditional caliber of 7.62X39mm. With 50% more HEAVY DUTY receiver that also has double reinforcement and crowned with extra heavy duty Target like barrel ! A true comparison is with the Russian tiger Draganov.Having made a reputation for accuracy,This heavy duty Barrel not found on most other rifles has Chrome lined chamber and Bore. This Vepr system along with excellent quality of all parts, to many to list here, has earned a legendary reputation for total dependability from the jungles to Siberia ! Vepr Comes with 2 detachable 10 round magazines, cleaning rod , cleaning kit and oil bottle.Magazine maximum is 10 round magazine and will not accept high cap magazines. This hunting /target rifle is legal for NJ. This Vepr is also Legal for CA with adding Bullet Button please visit the CA legal section of our web site for more details. . This barrel length is 16.5'' inches. Has scope rail on left side of receiver for mounting telescopic scopes or holographic sights on a picatiney rails.

Why the Vepr is better than the average AK

Hammer-Forged, Chrome-Lined, Heavy Barrel. Most durable AK Barrels Made.

Hammer Forging is a process whereby the lands and grooves of the barrel are formed by hammering the barrel material against a mandrel. This process not only creates sharp and well defined lands and grooves but also leaves an excellent surface finish on said surfaces. An additional benefit is that the barrel material becomes work hardened. The chrome plating helps prevent against wear and corrosion. We don't believe you can buy a better barrel on any rifle.

Rifles based on Kalashnikov's operating system have not been known for their exceptional accuracy. The renowned AK47 rifle was designed to function flawlessly in all environments and temperatures. In other words, functionability was more important than accuracy. However, because the VEPR has a stiffer receiver than the AK47, better accuracy can be expected.

Most Accurate. Consistently better groups than other AKs.

True RPK Receiver. Stiffer and longer wearing than any other AK receiver. Made for Soviet Squad Automatic Weapon.

The VEPR costs more for a reason - It is simply the finest Kalashnikov based rifle available in the U.S. market

When will these be listed on your site? Since I'm already here, I noticed you had the bullet button listed on your site. Does this mean I can order the bullet button on nearly any rifle now? Just wanted clarification. Thanks.

Talking Interarms AK47

Hello,
I was interested in buying an AK47, was looking hard at your Interarms AK47 with wood furniture. I noticed on the AR15 forum that you offered them a discount, do you offer the same discount to this forum as well. I purchased a FAL from you guys a couple of months ago and was very pleased with it.

Thanks

We are not offering any of the IAC rifles for CA at this time they have started to marke them AK47 & AK74 and this make them banned for CA.

Yes we can add a bullet button to the Verp rifle for CA shipment please email us for the CAL Gun discounted price and please mention your user name..

Do you mean Interarms?
You've got one in your Ca. Legal section. It's not on the list... I had to check again. IAC can mark it MG-47. J/K

Whats on the list is the InterOrdnance AK47. You're probably thinking of the IOC= InterOrdnance Casar. Which should be banned due to SOME rifles reputation.

Casar owners don't flip out now.

Interarms is not on the AW list. Why take it off? I just did a quick check on the AW flow chart and list, I can't find it on there. I know theres a more detailed list I've seen some where but the CG AW flow chart is an AW guide in it's simplest form.

Since you're the vendor, I'm just wondering if theres another list somewhere you could point me to. I don't want to be missing anything. THANX.

It is not the list it is the model marked on the gun if it says AK47 the dealers in CA will not accept them. IAC marked them IAC AK47SA or something like that and they have the AK47 mixed in so dealers will turn it down.

I got my VEPR in 7.62x39. Flawless rifle. The stock is butt ugly but I am working on that. It is simply the most accurate AK I have ever shot. Wonderful trigger and about half the felt recoil that my Romy has. Not sure why because it only weighs about 2lbs more. Just sucks up the recoil like a champ. Have about 500 rounds through it and no failures of any kind. Even with old magazines with worn out springs. My Romy won't run them reliabily.

Atlantic rocks, fast shipping!

Please let us know when the .556 comes out. If funds allow I am on board for one too. Sammy

Do you have an estimate on the cost of the Super VEPR?

Somebody has it listed for over 2k on gunbroker. I really hope they won't cost that much.

Someone beat you to it.....Vepr in 7.62x54(sold) and Super Vepr in .308 are already on Gunbroker. The new Super Vepr's differ from the original Robinson imported VEPRs in that they have a ported barrel and an integral side scope mount instead of the top mounted scope mount.

Super Vepr will not be CA legal because they use a diffrent mag release and their are no bullet buttons out for them at this time.

Wouldn't removing the thumbhole stock on the Super VEPR make it a featureless rifle and thus ok to ship to Ca?

Or a riveted on blanking plate to cover the thumb hole. Or can the Super's mag release be retrofitted to a standard AK style that could be bulletbuttoned?

Sorry, we're just spoiled children who want really nice toys.

Edit: The Vepr Hunter has a regular featureless rifle stock.
