I am on my phone so I didn't search to seeif there is already a thread on the topic, but I went the south bay rod and gun club for the first time today to site in my new rifle. I just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience it was. Rifle range out to 300 and 5 other ranges for pistols rifles and skeet. I was nervous after reading a bad review from a couple of years ago, but the range masters were great! Friendly group of guys and didn't have the angry cop attitude I have encountered in some ranges. We will be going back for sure. No affiliation, just wanted to let our local guys know about the place if they haven't been.

No skeet range yet. It has been in the planning stages since the early 1800's.

Is there a difference between trap and sleet? Never tried but have always wanted to. Anyway there is a shotgun range where they throw clay pigeons, May not actually be skeet apparently.

Glad to hear the positive feedback. I'm a RSO at SBRGC and I always try to make sure people have a safe and enjoyable outing in a friendly environment. Just remember to follow the safety rules while shooting, stay away from the bench during the line breaks and police your brass when you're done. If you have a question or problem just ask. Otherwise we won't bother you unless we see a safety issue.

Annual member...really need to get out there more. A bit of a drive, but always good. Definitely a well run operation.

Nice to know we have some RSOs on here! I want give give an extra shout out to Ed. He was hanging out by me and my two friends the entire time, and when he noticed we were all there to sight in new rifles he went and got a rest for my friend to use without us even asking!
