Default Anyone in build AR500 stands in San Diego?

I'm trying to find a stand for the weekend. I'm planning on buying some steel plates from industrial sheet metal tomorrow but just need the stand. I looked into building one but I'm not that handy when it comes to stuff like that.
The closest I can find I think is Orange County.

Any referrals would be appreciated.

I would like bases for 2x4 posts. I am looking for the lightest weight option. I think the metal stand that holds the wood is best. Then I can change the height of the targets of i need to. Also it's cheap to just replace the wood posts as opposed to metal bars that get shot up.

Ill make a deal with everyone. I work at a sheet metal shop. if we can all agree on one type of stand, and have a minimum order of 20. i can host for a group buy.

I use these. 1/2" rebar is cheap. It's much easier to hump 6 pieces of rebar and your plates out 300 yards than it is heavy *** metal stands and 2"x4"'s.
These are VERY durable!!! I use S-hooks and chain to hang plates. Simple

I made a set for about $10.

wood legs 4 1x4 $1 each at Home Depot
cross bar 1 10' 1/2 emt electrical conduit pipe $5 Home Depot

Cut emt pipe to 4'
cut 1x4 wood to 6' each
drilled 3/4" hole thru all 1x4's about 3" from top
run pipe thru wood and use 2 on each side as legs in an X shape.
push legs out to stabilize
hang gong with cheap wire ( I bought chain and bolts to attach but I could have just used some Romex electrical wire I have)

I used them to hang gong at 100 yds shooting with AR-15 and at 10 yds for 9mm

worked great. You can adjust height and use on un-even surfaces.

very light and easy to carry

Yup, maybe I should weld a chain link on.

This is 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide.

Welding on AR500 plate is not a good idea because it softens the steel at the weld and it will eventually crack. Also exposed chains get shot easily.

Nice stands . I put one together for $3.54. It is wood though, so I will have to replace parts of it now and then

Chain is cheap, and repaired easily. And NOT shooting the chain is the goal. LOL

I'm down to try. How much you want for a set? I need some for my kids. I have one made with a saw horse but would like another.

I drilled two more holes so I was able to add a second gong.

Check out
www.strikertargets.com
in La Verne.
They were at the Del Mar gun show yesterday and had some unique reactive targets like animal shapes welded to rocking stands, smack them and they return to position.
