Muzzle brake shims HELP!!
I'm trying to complete my upper build and got my self a jp Benny Cooley brake however I'm having issues because the washer it came with won't allow me to get the ports at the 12 o'clock. Does anyone have some barrel shims? I have some parts for trade

Report back on how it is when you get it up and running! Looking good so far!!
From my experience, I had a lantac on a 10.5" and took it off 2 sessions in. I don't mind loud booms but the concussion wasn't enjoyable. Now on anything shorter than 10.5 I use linear comps. Hopefully you've shot a short barrel before with brake but if not, you'll be in for a good experience. |

recoil reduction will be minimal i wish the op would try it with and without and just admit it is for looks

Haha, I've tested more then enough brakes on different lengths and styles of ARs. Every brake out there will be minimal, it a recoil reducer not an recoil eliminator
I'll post the video after Saturday's shoot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree,I like the dragon. I have two of them and a PWS. I just think for my build the JP brake was the route to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like directional brakes for pistols. Brakes that pound you with shockwaves over a long day of shooting don't make the recoil reduction worth it to me. But in the end, as long as you like it, who cares what anybody else says right?
