Best (least expensive) FFL in San Diego County?
I was looking at buying a gun from out of state and having it shipped to a local FFL. I called two different places and got quotes of $50 plus DROS and $100 plus DROS.
That transaction didn't happen but I wanted to see who did the best job (specifically in North County) for future reference. |

I also had never done a deal in a garage. I just don't like travelling to Santee from Carlsbad. |

I like to use Gusslers. Nothing against Gunther Guns or any other dealer, but I like them personally, they have a decent transfer fee ($45), and I like helping out a guy still operating from his garage.

Try Gio at honey badger firearms. He is by appointment only but is a good guy and a gun but like us. Picked up a tikka from him a couple of weeks ago. Great prices. Haven't done a ppt with him yet, but did ask him about it and he said he does do them for the required 35 bucks. His shop is hard to find, but he does have a website now.

it seems as though theres a lot of great places in san diego. gunfighter tactical has been good to me. empowered firearms has been great although I've only been there a handful of times. I've been to gusslers for a ppt with no problems.
