Default Glock 26 IWB holster suggestion

Hey guys just modified my permit(removed shield) to add the Glock 26.
I need holster suggestions, I’ve had my permit a little over a year and already have a box full of holsters.
I carry g19 everyday in a LAG defender holster at 4 o’clock. I like it not love it.
Prefer to stick with Kydex and the like mainly because leather and neoprene make me sweat a lot and I end up getting rash for whatever reason plastics don’t.

Prefer 2 points of attachment the rock of the CYA holsters drive me crazy.

Thanks in advance

James, where are you located. If your in the OC area or Ontario, stop by either my shop or this weekends Ontario Gun Show, bring your gun and try some holsters on before you buy.

You say you have a shoe box full of holsters (which is why my point of coming into the shop or show for a fitting) What holster do you have, and why are you dissatisfied? If you give a gun type, and someone offers a holster without asking these questions to fit you, expect it may end up in a show box with the others.

Where on the body do you wear your gun? Do you wear a tucked in shirt? Do you have any physical limitations that limit location or draw such as arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrom, rotator cuff, etc. Limitation on where you can carry because of IBS, Ulcers, hip injury, back injury/pain? Are you heavy, slim? Considerations such as sensitive skin, medical issues affecting skin?

All or any of these can make a difference in which holster might be right for your, or what adjustments that you might not have made to either fit or how you wear can impact both performance and comfort.

Stay Safe, and carry.

Default Glock 26 IWB holster suggestion

Grantar,
I wish I was closer I’ve seen your posts around,
Holsters I’ve tried range from alien gear 3.0 to cya single clips.
First I am a gear junkie so don’t mind trying a lot of different holster.
The alien gear is comfortable but sweaty for me plus I had to modify the kydex for my g19 wrecked my middle finger in a training class..

I’ll look into the stealthgear and see what’s up

Mostly wear jeans and t shirt never tucked in. Carry 4 o’clock

No medical issue but I live in the Central Valley where people melt

Thanks for the input

Remember I am a sales man so question claims.

For the G26 since you have no health issues and wear casual, have you tried a Sticky Holster - The G26 requires a MD-4G, they are made in Florida and are comfortable hot and cold. Some people have an issue with no clip, but it's really no issue. I have other solutions, but as an example the Sticky is no bigger than the gun so you have minimal holster against the body. When I was at the California Gang Task Force briefing in Visailia you should have seen how many happy cops I had with this.

There are other solutions. Feel free to give me a call, I can answer questions no obligation to buy from me. If you decided to order one from me, I would still like to talk with you about how to get the best performance comfort and some training to gain confidence with the rig. Do use the current discount code Nexbelt10 - My number is (949) 528-7385

Kydex iwb holster is all I use now. I also like MIC. I have few others that are more expensive, but I like to be invisible and THIN. and there is nothing thinner than the MIC holsters.

I highly recommend Bravo concealments torsion holster for the 26. I’ve been using for 1.5 years.

Precision Holsters out of Placerville are excellent. Small profile, comfortable, with the ability to customize a number of the parts.

Highly recommend the Vedder "Light Tuck"... comes with strong metal belt clip, adjustable height, adjustable cant, retention, and optional "claw" attachment which I have and highly recommend on a sing belt clip rig (keeps from printing).

The quality, custom form, and build of the Vedder--in my opinion--is excellent.

I've been using this holster every day with no issues. Super comfortable, adjustable, and provides quick removal of rig if needed.

I too concur, Vedder is the only way to go!

I've never tried the "claw" attachment. But with three different clip mounting holes, I've been able to find the sweet spot that naturally keeps a G26 tucked in. No printing, very comfortable.

James, are you in Orange County? If yes just stop by my shop and try some on. If your in Riverside or Ontario come out next week and shop the Ontario Gun Show. Bring your gun (it will have to be empty in the show) and try on several different holsters from the various vendor. We will be there as well.

If not I have a list of questions I like to ask before trying to fit you. Of course one question has to be why not buy another of what you were using for the shield. The key with the Glock is it's wider, noticeably wider, so trying before you buy is a good idea.

Bravo concealment torsion. Cheap and the clips are excellent. Plus you don’t have to wait 2 or 3 months to get it.

So now that the holster issue is settled, where did you take the fish, what was the weight. You have to expect questions like this if your going to use a plastic navy photo for your avatar.

Back in the day when GetBentSportfishing.com was in it's hey day 2003 to 2007 was the onset of the kayak fishing craze and development. During that time there were kayak fishing tournaments, big runs off of Lajola for yellowtail etc. The guys often referred to themselves as the Plastic Navy. Not unlike yatch clubs having power squadrons, and flotillas, of course the always amazing collection of bass boats, and air boats the make up the famous Cajun Navy we saw in action this last winter during the Huston / Galveston rescues.

There is an official group http://plasticnavykayakanglers.com/

There are news articles https://www.ocregister.com/2008/03/3...-plastic-navy/

All of my IWB are Vedder.

I keep buying others based on glowing recommendations here, and I keep going back to Vedder.
