This product is good to go! Thank you for the above pictures as my STR would have baffled me. Easy to install and works like a charm. Will be ordering more. If I can do it anyone can!

Couldn't you just fill the space in the existing pin to prevent it's movement?

I'll try a tiny wedge in the slot below the roll pin.

I'm sure there is a million and 1 ways to block a stock. However, this is a 1for1 replacment that doesn't need drilling, gluing, epoxy, extra pins, screws, a trip to the hardware store, or anything other than the OEM parts.

ETA: admittedly I look for any excuse for a trip to the hardware store.

Where are the STR instructions? I'm ready to purchase, but I want to make sure I know what to do beforehand.

OP, the installation guide pics that were originally in Posts #5 and #6 above are no longer appearing (and the aimsportsinc.com website currently doesn't appear to provide installation instructions either).

Why not just drill and tap it off with a pin and split ring?

I was able to figure it out without instructions. Pretty simple if you take your time. I am quite pleased by the end result and cost effectiveness of this product.

Like Sigbird noted, the top hole is a little too small to accept the upper pin so you will have to drill it. This added about 2 mins to the process for me.

I am having problems with removing the storage compartment covers on the ACS stock. The photos above do nothing for me. Any ideas?

EDIT: I realize that I have an ACS L stock. Is the pin comparable with the light version of the ACS?

Hello Sir,
Our pin is compatible with the ACS-L. Installing it is just like the CTR stock where you need to remove the friction lock roll pin to access the plunger. I responded to your other thread and hope it worked out. If you have any other questions please PM me.
Thank you

Hi George,

Will your Daniel Defense Pin kit work with Magpul stocks as well?

FDE226,
Sorry but the Daniel Defense stock pin will only work with Daniel Defense stocks. We have a Magpul specific pin for their stocks.

Are there clearer instructions for Daniel Defense? I'm having a heck of a time trying to install this pin.

Reporting in to note that this does work, but the screw is too long. Either trimming it or replacing it with a shorter one will do the trick.

Install took about 30-45 minutes. Wasn't too hard but is a decent amount of work. Does the job fine.
