BFD Neither were My MAG-LOCK or the Prince50 standard Locking magazine kit.

The Bullet-Button, Genes CA Range Safe Mag Lock, Or my PIN-MAG-LOCK. all are made in accordance with the letter of the law.

as long as you insert a magazine with no more capacity than ten rounds you will be fine.

Our other Mag Locks seem to have been accepted by the LE community and these new items will as well given time.

The funny part is that bullet removal of a magazine has been approved by the CA DOJ:
Quote:
Comment

A1.12 - The SKS rifle with a detachable magazine cannot be changed without using a bullet tip as a tool, thus the regulations conflict with the specific listing of SKS rifles with detachable magazines in the Roberti-Roos Assault Weapons Control Act. DOJ has no authority to contradict existing law.

DOJ Response

The Department disagrees with the comment because any magazine that requires the use of a bullet or any other tool for its removal is a fixed magazine, not a detachable magazine. The SKS with a true detachable magazine does not require a bullet or any other tool to remove and is a controlled assault weapon under Penal Code section 12276. Identifying a bullet as a tool allows for the proper categorization of an SKS with a fixed magazine. Therefore, the SKS referred to in the comment has a fixed, not detachable magazine.

I've tried to email Darin (Prince50) several times without a return email. I'd like to order 50-100 of these so I can stock them on my website as well as ship complete firearms to CA. Let me know please.

Cold War Shooters has complete off-list AR-10 rifles. Not sure where you'd go for all the parts, though.

pick a different vendor with shipping costs thatyou like then.

Some vendors will ship for free and others are in the $5 range.

Dear Prince50,

My sincerest apologies for the confusion...

I never believe I ever once mentioned I was trying to pass off your part.
I honestly was merely trying to fill a need in the market. I have a few family owned businesses you would not give the time of day to and helped them supply their need. I had no idea I was infringing on you. And thank you for sharing...

Unfortunately, I cannot simply delete my add, but I promise I am in the process in upgrading it...You have to admit to yourself though...the current one is of the utmost top of line quality...that's because it is. All tested and military personnel approved. And at an affordable price too

Now, just for clarification; is it "bullet-button" (with a hyphen) or "bullet button" (with a space..) or "bulletbutton" (no matter how it's done)...no matter. I will simply call my new one "magazine lock" and I don't care who else decides to use the same freaken name (what are we in kindergarten or something).

Wishing you the best,
ssgg

While I doubt your apology is sincere, I will accept it.

You knew full well you were infringing, by counterfeiting my products.

California has a core group of great designers who have done their part to supply products that compliment and compete at the same time, and none of this group has copied another's products. Radd, Monsterman, Solar Tactical, Jumbo Panda, California Rifles, and others I am sure I am forgetting are top notch designers who do not steal designs. You do not fall into this group.

You have showed yourself for who you are with your copies of my products, and Magpul's.

For your information, Bullet Button is Trademarked with or without a Hyphen, capitalized or not, one word or two words. That information and the patent info was included in the certified letter you received.

Regards,

Darin Prince
The Bullet Button guy.

But I can and I have.

I have no tolerance for people who STEAL from others and that is exactly what you are doing.

Stealing Darin's design and trying to ride on his effort in research and development.

You will never sell here again, not with this account, not with your HST account, in fact you are done on CGN permanently.
