Default Full Metal Firarms

First calguns post. New resident to Rancho Cordova from Sonoma County!

Wow what an upgrade. Who knew? My fiancee and I are so happy here. We can afford a big house (while saving for one), are close to tahoe, have great jobs and everyone has been really friendly. People seem to complain about the heat. I don't know why. It's just as hot in the inland bay area cities and I actually have good insulation now.

And...

Gun shops, gun shops everywhere.

I can BIKE to a shooting range.

Anyways, the first shop I stopped off at was called Full Metal Firearms off Sunrise Blvd on Sunrise Gold Circle. It looks like they are a new shop with a pretty limited amount of stuff. They are 10x nicer then anyone I have ever encountered in the North Bay though, so I did a transfer for $45 through them for a Buck Mark. They had some 80% lowers and a few SIGs.

I searched google and calguns, but I did not find any information on them. I am going to go to Armory Outpost today because of the great reviews on here. I have gone to the Ammo Depot, RC Guns and Ammo, and Action Guns. Everyone was pretty friendly.

Any thoughts on this new shop?

I need to check out Full Metal. I didn't know about it. I can tell you that Armory Outpost is $10 cheaper for a transfer, but $45 isn't insane. I think if you transfer more than one item at Armory Outpost it is $10 each for subsequent items.

It is nice to have options. Action Guns is cool and Cordova Shooting Center's shop, and there is Sportsman's Warehouse, and Shooter's Warehouse. Last I checked, I did not like RC Guns and Ammo. What did you think of RC Guns and Ammo and Armory outpost?

Welcome to Sac and the Sacramento Calguns Chapter.

If you are in Rancho, you will probably want to shoot at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center http://www.sacvalley.org/. It's the biggest range in the area and offers every kind of shooting I can think of. A non-voting membership is not expensive and gets you a $5 full day of shooting.

I've bought most of my guns from River City Gun Exchange, on Fruitridge. They have a great selection, good prices and the staff is very very knowledgeable. They are crazy busy on Saturdays, so if you can, go on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. Also, RCGE always has ammo, reasonably priced, even when everyone else is out.
