Default Cordova Shooting Center and AR Pistols

Just a heads up for those of you wanting to go there to shoot your AR Pistol and expecting to use the 100 yard range. They won't let you.

Apparently, a bunch of shooters who go there can't even get on paper for the 100 yard so they do not allow it for even good shooters.

I was bummed as once I dialed it in at 25 yards, I felt confident at the 100 but couldn't verify. I go there because its super close to the office and I can test upgrades (sight in) during a lunch break pretty quick.

Looks like I'll have to go to Sac Valley or at least Sacramento Gun Club at hit the 50 yards there.

On a better note, CMC 3.5 drop in trigger is a sweet upgrade. A must do IMHO.

Sac Valley will allow you to shoot pistols on the rifle range, but only benched. You may not stand or lie prone with a pistol on the rifle range. And they enforce it.

My response to the ATF ruling. (New AR finished just last night)

14.5 with pinned 1.5 Battle Comp

Now I don't give a rat's bootay on what they say about shouldering. Freedom required some funds from my wallet.... ;p

AR pistol is going to sit in the safe going forward.

Well I guess they saw a short AR and a Sig Brace and called it. Oh well, I'm really digging the new build (above). Going to take it back to Cordova Shooting Center on the next lunch break (that I'm free) and let 'er rip. Now they really can't tell me I can't hang at the 100.
