CGSSA16-insight shooting range monthly 1-28-16
Hey guys Come out and meet some of your fellow calgunners. Put a face to those clever screen names. Bring your friends and family too
. Fellow members, just a friendly reminder: Please let me or any of the volunteers know if you plan on bringing a new shooter. We need to know if they are familiar with the rules of safety in order to keep themselves and everyone else attending safe. If not we will be happy to assist them. I know that this Monthly Shoot is fairly new and we have been doing good so far but us, as volunteers, are always open to hearing suggestions on how to improve the experience in a safe manner. So if you have any questions, comments or concerns please post them here or let us know in person. From the NRA: 1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. 2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. 3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. 4. Know your target and what is beyond. Competition Shoot: We are now adding a little competition shooting to the shoot. It is nothing serious. But there are some prizes. You can also help by donating items to the prizes if youd like. When you show up to the shoot, please give them either to me, tacotodd or RR.44 and we will put it towards the prizes for the winners. Each month we will try a different type of competition. So if you have any ideas, let us know. Date: Thursday january 28, 2016 Time: 7:00-10:00 pm Range Fee: $13 flat rate. Website: http://www.insightrangeinc.com/ Follow all range rules. Yep, must be cases. They are just too lazy to sort out the aluminum when they sell your brass for cash. There is no other reason to ban Aluminum cases from a range. It is hassle free cash. Shovel the brass into buckets and to the scrap metal recyler or better yet, just sell it as once used brass or reliad it. Nothing wrong with alum cased ammo and they are a lot less expensive so many shooters prefer them for target practice. Same with steel core. They do not get as much for your lead and copper it it has steel mixed in. With all kinds of new people getting into shooting, can't see that the ranges are that desparate. |

Don't know...i doubt it...they're dealing with a local.gov....government is not known to be efficient...
I know the range has done their part and is squared away. They're just waiting on "big brother"... |

The only solid lead bullet (with no jacket required) allowed are the 22 rimfire & the 45 Long Colt. The 44 mag is the largest caliber allowed right now.
