Default New CG 63--updated with range report

I glommed a CG 63 a few weeks back at an online auction. The picture (one!) was kinda crappy and the description was worse. But I bid accordingly and I think it worked out.

Auction pic

It arrived at my FFL and I started the paperwork. Appears to be in excellent condition, although my phone pics are even worse than the auction pics...better pics when it gets out of jail.

Nice!! Do you know when it was converted, and by who?

I love those rifles. Truly the "Crown Jewels" of Swedish rifles.

Yep! Looking forward to shooting this one.

I've got a FSR Husqvarna M96 that someone put in a CG 63 stock. It looks nice, but still has the M96 profile barrel.

Thanks, smle-man.

I've been in the hunt for a CG 63 for a few years now. Did not want to strike until I found the right deal, which is getting more challenging.

I'll post better pics and a range report when I get it out of jail.

Beautiful, they are sublime rifles. Over the years I have come to expect at least the floor plate to be mismatched usually?

Thanks, '47. I'll post a range report when I take it to the range.

I got out to the 200 yard range and fired my CG63. Shot pretty well with my reloads.

@200 yards, grouping just under 2", or a little better than 1MOA
