Default Stockton LGS

Hey fellow CalGunners. Looking to DROS in Stockton to make it convenient for the sellers work location and inflexible hours. Anyone recommend a safe, friendly and non gouging LGS to do the deal at tomorrow or Thursday? Seller gets off work at 4:15 PM.

Thanks in advance.

Outdoor Sportsman- one problem with PPT is they charge a storage fee of $35 a day if buyer picks up past the 10 day wait.
Stockton Gun Exchange- have not bought a gun or PPT'ed a gun for a while.

If it is a PPT all FFL's are only allowed to charge $35 for the DROS.

I have done 3-4 PPTs at Stockton Gun Exchange. I have been in and out, happy and have had zero problems with them. If I had a seal of approval, I'd give it to them.

Stockton Gun Exchange is a better choice than Outdoor Sportsman. Last time I was at Outdoor Sportsman they said they were only doing PPTs "by appointment."

There is absolutely no problem with either Outdoor Sportsman nor Stockton Gun Exchange. Different shops, different flavors.

I patronize both.

Eric Jr., Laurel, John, Ross, Oscar, Bob and Andrew are personal friends that I have come to know at Outdoor Sportsman. They are good folk and will treat you well. And I have never heard that they require "appointments". I'm calling BS.

Call what you want. That's what they told me when I walked in there for a ppt about a year ago. I've got no reason to lie.

Avoid Outdoor sportsman like the plague... They might be able to do a DROS no problem, but everything they sell is overpriced ($40 for a box of Federal .40) the service is often slow, and the store is often frequented by gangsters.

Stockton Gun Exchange is the way to go.. =D last time I was at Outdoor Sportsman, I waited 15-20 mins with no one behind me, Guy sees me standing there, then all of a sudden another customer comes in, walk pass me and help the other person.. That's BULL.. I let it go once.. But 2 times.. Not cool.. So I emailed them saying how their service sucked and that it seemed a little racist.. Just because I dressed a certain way.. Never again ill step foot in OutDoor..

Stockton Gun Exchange is excellent.

Efficient. Courteous. No BS storage fees for days 11-31. Highly recommended.

The store has plenty of parking in back. Will buy next retail choice there as retail prices were fair or better than reasonable. And that was price posted. Get to talking and who knows? Had a nice selection of consignment pistols as well.

Stockton gun exchange for sure, smaller but friendlier. I stopped doing business with outdoor sportsman because I'm too ethnic to get good service there. Just keeping it real and being honest.

ODS gets a lot of traffic of all shapes and colors. All they care about is if you can pass background or not. Whether they are "Gangsters choice" or not might be based on location.

Asked if they had lead-free 5.7mm ammo, he asked why I wanted lead free instead of offering the last time head heard about it or if it was discontinued etc. Told him "I'm looking for the aluminum core bullets, not the copper alloys hehe"

SGE was where I got a few of my guns, haven't been there in awhile, but I always got a comfortable vibe from the younger guy there. Remembering the remark about my NAA .22lr saying don't get the magnum cause that short of a barrel it makes no difference, waste of money.

ODS is Kel-Tec free btw, but I doubt they would discriminate against a PPT based on gun brand, if that is even a thing.
