Default 1948 Marlin 336 Carbine
Here is my 1948 Marlin 336, it's in pretty good shape and from what I can tell it is all original. The only thing it is missing is the height adjuster for the rear sight.

Thanks, of all the guns I have owned it is one of my favorites. There is just something awesome feeling about shooting a lever action carbine.

Sounds and looks like the part you need is a rear sight elevator. I have one that I think will fit your rifle. Send me a PM with your mailing address and I will send it to you free of charge.
