Default Franklin Armory Billet Lower Pre-Order thread

Just wanted to start a thread for updates for those who pre-ordered. First they said end of Feb, then early march, then end of march. It is now april.

So if you pre-ordered could you post the date you pre-ordered and when/if you get the call to pick up and dros.

Ordered: 02/10
Pickup: TBA

They don't have a full refund if they don't get it in X amount of days.....? That must be why i don't buy guns there.

Good to know they are coming in at least. No refunds on deposits now that they are in.

Not true. I cancelled a gun from there. The sales people had no hard feelings, if they didn't have a gun to cancel, they said they don't charge a cancellation fee. Now if I got a serial number and then cancelled, they said I would of been charged.

Well Calguners, I'll take the blame for this. When this all hit, we bought several new 5-axis machines to increase production. The problem was that I was anticipating a linear increase of parts per day. e.g. One machine = 100, two must = 200, and three brand new machines will get you 300 per day, right? ....unfortunately, not so much. On top of that, we had some anodizing issues that created some blem batches that I could not in good conscience ship out. So, at the end of the day, please direct all hate male to my PM box. Turners, Ammo Bros, The Shootist, et al have been very patient with us and I thank them for their patronage, and I thank you for hanging in there.

You got my support FA. You put out a fine product and the wait is understandable.

BTW, will Turner's carry your billet upper in the future? thanks.

We will be happy to offer billet uppers with window covers and forward assists if Turner's wants to order them. We should have them available later this year, or by Q1 2014 at the latest. I know that is a long way out, but we are buried with complete rifle orders at the moment.

Yea! when I ordered my Libertas lowers from Turner in Reseda and asked if they can order uppers from Franklin for me but they said NO because it was not listed on Franklin website. I would suggest Franklin to start listing to their retailers so we can start put in order for our match up set.

Here's a look at the matched set. We have 14 blem uppers that are available to ship today. The anodize came out a little blue and there were some minor tool marks. If you're interested, contact your Franklin Armory dealer.

For the most part, we're trying to get a lot of rifles out the door. On occasion we have more components than we can build such as LPKs, handguards, etc. Right now, we have a lot of FSR rails available.
