how bout simi valley area of ventura county ?...its only about another ten or fifteen minute drive to wrk frm simi...(i live and wrk in the SFV of los angeles county)...is the sheriff in ventura county concealed carry friendly ?...how about good cause..i am a business owner who has to open a locked gate on a dark street at 5:30 am..a little spooky..my huntin buddy has commented on the danger i could b in but i see no legal way around it...i feel like a sitting duck...

You apply in the city you live in, if no issue, then the county. Most likely you will need a year's residence in Ventura county.

living in ventura county s way better, i left the valley in 1995 nd love it, much cooler, the cops come when you call them and people dont put up with **** like back in the valley
