Default Raahauge show

Anyone going to this fair? Haven't been for 2 years but might have to check it out. Not looking forward to a long line if it happens this year.

I plan on going.

It will be my first time attending so I don't wants top miss it.

I hope it is not as crowded as the Ontario gun show in January.

Definitely going... Even if the lines are long it is well worth it. I actually go all 3 days.

I wonder if there will be enough ammo to support the fair and with the prices in the last few months I wonder how much the price per shot will go up?

There will be lines, but this is a one of a kind experience in this area. I have been the last 2 years and really look forward to going again. I will be bringing my 4 year old this time to introduce him to the .22lr can shooting experience.

I am sure price will go up but I remember seeing an email or something saying that they have procured enough ammo to put the show on so I am assuming there will be plenty.

I went last year, HUGE lines. Lots of fun though and you get the chance to try many different firearms. Make sure you bring your piggy bank.

What do you mean bring your piggy bank? How will I be spending my money there? I have been shooting there for the past month and the wife and I want to go to the show and hopefully get a weapon there....educate me on this please

It is a great place to 'try before you buy' and cheaper than renting at a range. The best part was watching some dude pony up $15 per round to fire a Barrett (complete with legs and a fat scope, on a bench) at a target about 75 yards away. And miss. Badly. Several times.

Yes, it is the Turners Sports Fair, and they will have firearms for sale!

Anyone know what the age requirements are for the youth .22LR firing line?

Not sure about hard age requirement... I think it might be like 7yo.
I always start my day at the 'Women and Childrens' booth... better to spend a couple bucks warming up on .22lr than hitting the .44magnum or Weaterby .460 straight away.

I'll be there working the Colt, Taurus, Rossi & Ceasar Guerini booth again. Come by and shoot some AR's, pistols, revolvers, shotguns and lever actions.

So you can buy guns and accessories there too? Cool. What are the lines like at the start on Friday?

Planning to go Friday as well. Been wondering what time to show up for lines? Thinking Friday wouldn't be to bad but thought the same thing about Oak Tree and was wrong.

I pulled a major bonehead move last weekend. I got my dates mixed up and drove out to Norco thinking the fair was last weekend! Doh! Oh well, I am looking forward to going back out for it next weekend.

Lines weren't to bad today. Parking took about 20 minutes. Walked right in at 12:30pm. Lines for some shooting were reasonable. Some shooting ranges were expensive, $140 I think for the gattling gun. Chuck from Michael and Associates gave an informative seminar. That alone was worth it!

Turners has a deal only at the fair where any AK or AR you buy you can get a free Drago case ($80 msrp) and an option to buy a forged lower for $59 (their msrp $159). Most of the AR's were $100 off. You figure with the bag and additional lower your getting $180 in extra savings.

They had blocked Gen 2 Pmags for $25. Sold out in afternoon, may have more tomorrow.

500 rounds .223 steel case for $200.

Do you need to bring anything or just show up? I'm thinking eyes/ears.

I'm planning to go tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 when they open.

^ i'd take eyes and ears if you wanna shoot. Some booths might let you borrow, but it's much easier to bring your own.
