What is your most elegant firearm?
Well?
Mine is my Pattern 1853 Enfield Snider conversion. I will let the pics speak for themselves (credit for the photos goes to the guy who sold it to me - he is a much better photographer than I). This is meant to be a pic thread, please post 'em up......looking for ELEGANCE above all.....what's your favorite? |

My great grandfathers 2 hunting rifles. He used them in India around 1921. Took a cheetah, water buffalo and others. Among the 2, the 9mm Manlicher Schonauer is elegant, is an understatement. The other, I have no idea of the caliber, is just massive. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

C96 made in 1916.
Or this 1964 production (which makes it a C&R) Python.

Beautiful firearms guys, I would post mine but the pictures don't do it justice. My most elegant is an usinussed Persian 98/29 Mauser.

I'll have to post pictures later but I have a 60 plus caliber handmade black powder rifle with a green oak stock where someone carved the whole stock but with everything raised not glued on or carved into the wood. I have never seen another one. Pictures later when I get time after Christmas
