Default What are you carrying today?

I've exclusively carried Benchmade since about 2003. I have over a dozen and with the new drama I decided to switch it up.

Today I'm carrying a Buck 426 Bucklite made in 1992. It's basically a 110 with a plastic handle. I found the knife years ago and it's been sitting in a drawer since.

So what's in your pocket today?

I like it. Buck does a good job with these knives. I wish they offered a custom 110 auto.

My wife gave me a 110 auto for Christmas. It is amazing. Buck did a fantastic job on the conversion. It snaps open with a kick. The fit and finish is like knives from the Buck custom shop. I have a 110 conversion that I got 15 years ago. It is not anywhere nearly as nice as the 110 auto.

I called Buck and asked about a custom 110 auto. They just said not yet and that they are hoping the law changes so they can ship directly to customers in auto legal states.

For front pocket carry have you guys had any issues with the button getting bumped and deploying the blade? I won't carry in a sheath.

LCP2, only because I wasn't sure if the no gun rule was in place at Toy Con in Las Vegas. I ended up leaving it in the trunk. I did see Ponch and John taking pictures with people for 40 bucks a pop.

Ponch allowed free pics when I saw him at SHOT show years ago.

Carried a Spyderco Pacific Salt knife today. Found it in a junk bin for $3. Just needed some clean up and sharpening. I carry it when out in rainy weather or around salt water. I always carry a Swiss Army classic or Tinker or equivalent on key chain.

I've carried a Swiss Army silver Money Clip everyday for the past 29-years, I lost the first one, but the second has been with me over 20-years and it still looks great.

Today I was working in a Bay Area urban city center on foot, so I carried my Big Boy, the ZT 0452CF

If you ever get annoyed by the anemic pocket clip, get a free 0801 clip from ZT and it is larger - shields the lock bar from your grip a little (so you don't press the detent and keep it from opening). That made mine a lot more comfortable.

An ugly Case Baby Butterbean. Though i have more expensive traditionals and nicer moderns, this feller seems to stay in my watch pocket. So long as it's sharp. I use the ugly pen blade for packages and what not so i can keep the main blade sharp for more useful tasks.
