Sorry had a glitch in my link. Should be up now! How about getting them posted up by the end of April?

Print target at 100% or full page size.

Here's a target I shot with a CZ American with a Mueller APV @ 50yds with a 10-15mph wind from the left.

Score is 82.
Got the extra bonus 10pts on the middle column.

Killer idea, IM SO IN ON THIS!! Hitting the range saturday, i guess if i see these targets hanging out at Sac Valley this weekend, ill know they are calgunners

The only thing i would advise as a rule change, is not just touching the circle, but neets to be INSIDE the circle (not half in/half out). I think that would be more fun, JMHO

Sounds like fun however I shoot a Ruger MKIII pistol indoors. It would be great to have an open sight pistol, indoor version of the same game: say at 12 & 25 yards.

Try it as is and see! These rules allow for a variety of scores! Enjoy!

Easy... just choose your distance/s, print several sizes and find what works best for you and your shooter buddies!
Enjoy!

They had this same target for a monthly competition at RimfireCentral.com.

There were quite a few folks who were able to shoot it clean, which is some amazing shooting. Then again, they were using tricked out rifles with scopes. I've still got a bunch of those targets around here someplace. Made out of cardstock.

Well,
Geez,
Sorry for posting this then. Thanx for thread crapping on what I thought would be something fun for folks who frequent Calguns. If you want crazy fun go to Rimfire Central I guess!

Lol, no thread crapping intended by me! I just thought i could make a suggestion for a rule modification . Thanks again for the fun interactive idea! Im headed out tomarrow to sac valley with my gir and some friends... These targets will definatly be shot at . Results to be posted on sunday (contest winners im sure ).

Hopefully some others join in this weekend so we get a second place winner (behind me of course) so we can do another game! I think we should do a bi-weekley contest or games for ourselfs on calguns, kinda like the other link.

Bobby

When I first saw the rimfire forum on here I thought we should start something like this , I think this target is a little to easy though . They should become gradually harder .

There are several on here that if they shoot it I'm sure will clean it as I've used this target during my rimfire matches as a KYL target @ 50 yards from prone. I have another target that is .5" dot inside a 1" circle that you might want to use if I can post the link.

Just got back from shooting and I didn't do too well. I probably missed about 5 targets so I didn't even bother taking it home lol. I think I still need to wear the barrel down a little to get some more consistant groups. I had a bunch of flyers so I wasn't too satisfied. Plus I was rushed and I hate being rushed. Next time I'm going to give it another shot.

Right here buddy boy! Right here!!

Shots were taken off a bench, 50 yards. 5-15mph wind gusts later in the day. Thats why shots seem to be all over the larger circles, really had to use the "kentucky windage" today . Beautiful day to go shooting, thats for comeing out for a while ryan, tell chris he owes me a new gun .

This one with a score of 82 points. On all my targets, if they were not totally inside the circle then i only counted the ones that had the center of hole inside target circle.

This one with a score of 76

AND THIS ONE FOR THE WIN!!! Total Score: 86 Points! I guess makes me the current leader . Whoo hoo! I should have cleaned my barrel out halfway through the day, started getting dirty and fouled, shots started really opening up tward the end of the day

Bobbyblank,
Thanx for posting your targets, and I hope to see more, but you may have to do your math over again.

Looking at the lower pic as posted, I count 2 full rows for 30+30+6 for the bottom row. How do you score the extra 10 for the middle row? Or are you counting the top row? It appears as though all shots are not "clearly" inside the dot on the middle row. Even with the extra 10 it's only 76 pts!

Thanks for catching the bad math, i didnt even notice it . I posted these right before i had to pack to leave town for a week, wasnt able to fix it until i got back. The +10 was ment for the top row. Sorry for the mistake, ill be going out again sunday and have a few more for ya.

I think the rules were 25 yards with irons. I think the same should apply with 1x sights.

Ok folks... only 9 more days. Post some targets!!!

If it's so easy... Post your cleaned targets!

It's just for fun by-golly!

Show us what you got! Even if it's not super fantastic!

I know Calguns can do better than this!

Proove it!

Default Rimfire Rifle Match for May

Ok...lets try this again.
Just for fun, and bragging rights!

Hopefully, we can get more than just 3 targets posted for this match!!! The April showing was dissappointing!

Download and print this target.
http://www.mytargets.com/target22%20circles%20x20.pdf

Shoot one shot at each of the 20 dots
Rimfire rifles with scopes from 50 yds
Rimfire rifles with open sights or red dots from 25 yds

Score:
1 pt for touching the black arc of the outside circle
2 pts for all white inside the circle
5 pts for touching the black dot
20 pts for all inside the black dot

Write each shot's score beneath each cirlce, ad up your totals. Post your scores and (hopefully) pics of your target!

Good Luck!

Is this match shot from different positions, bench, or your choice.
Sounds like fun!

If I'm up early enough I'll try to get up there!
