Default Is this ammo allowed at ASR?

I'm looking for some AK ammo and found this..

http://www.sgammo.com/product/surplu...ed-non-magneti

Would they allow this at Angeles Shooting Range?

Thanks for any input

Should be okay as there ammo restriction only says magnetic bullets are not allowed. Still, I would call and confirm if steel case is okay.

(818) 899-2255

After reading the ammo description, though, I would be hesitant only because of it's tendency to jam..

We do not guarantee that this ammo will feed flawlessly, if you buy this ammo expect some jams and minor feeding issues with some rounds. We have also had the occasional report that this ammo is not as accurate as some of the other types on the market, so do not expect it to be.

DONT GET IT! Save your money that exact ammo jams more like every other round. The bullet is too blunt and gets stuck on the feeding ramp. I think Red Army standard makes some nonmagnetic range ammo now.

Yes that stuff will be fine. I've been shooting that stuff and have not experienced any problems, maybe it's because I'm only using 10 round magazines.

EDIT: Yes, Red Army does make ASR/Burro OK ammo. It comes in nonmagnetic-steel case and nonmagnetic-brass.

Now those people who wants to sell their Yugo stash for 60 cents a round can eat it!

Should be fine. If the projectile attracts a magnet, its no good. Case doesnt matter

I have been shooting that ammo. It works sometimes then reload and nothing but problems. Won't always eject shells. Some bullets must have a low powder charge. I always take some fiocchi ammo with me.

I bought that same ammo from them and shoot it at ASR all the time. They'll check you with a magnet alot because it looks like surplus, but yes its fine to shoot.

I've maybe had 1 round out of my 500 that failed to fire. Definitely worth the purchase.

I've shot that ammo also through an SKS and it only jammed twice out of 500 rounds. And I shot it at ASR. You're good to go.

I also shot 100 rounds of that stuff at Angeles, the rso checked the bullet with a magnet and I was good to go. I did have two ftf with it but the others shot fine in my saiga.
