You better tell your sales staff what is going on. I called them this morning and asked about this scope and the guy told me he had no idea what I was talking about. Said I was better off going to AR15 for more info. What is the price and delivery date to your customers? Not trying to start crap just trying to figure out if this scope is for me.

Alright!!! I have been waiting for the 5x but I think I'm gonna have to drop the hammer and pick up the 6x!! I can't wait any longer! After having a chance to shoot the 5x I have been dreaming about owning my own and eagerly awaiting this day! I'm gonna order the 6x right now but I still might pick up a 5x too. Any idea when it will be here?

Not of this scope. It would have no advantage. This is very lightweight and compact. That is what we wanted and to keep the price under $200

Yes there will be a number of models coming 30mm and Prisms.
This is our entry level scope and the first in stock. People are requesting "ACSS" in higher end scopes. Dimitri

Primary Impressions
Well, I received my 6X ACSS Scope yesterday, for those keeping track I ordered this late in the day on the 21st and received it mid day on the 26th.
Five days including a weekend which can screw up shipping times. Regardless of what the product is Primary Arms already has bonus points for their service. I looked the scope over, checked for blemishes, tested the focal ring and adjustments. The fit and finish on this is very nice, the adjustments move without needing excessive force but also are not 'sloppy' and loose. I mounted it on my DPMS heavy barrel flat top upper after removing the Mueller 1-4x24 Speed Shot. This is becoming a habit, I recently changed the scope on my bench 10/22 from a Mueller 4.5-14x40 to a PA 4-16x44. I haven't had a chance to take it to the range obviously however a few things stand out. The glass is very clear all the way to the edge, very bright and the eyebox is easy to find and of decent size. This was a complaint with the Speed Shot for me, no matter where the eye relief was at there is always a dark ring at the perimeter and it felt 'shaded. The PA 6X does not have this, it is clear and crisp to the edges. The size is great, I have tried scopes from cheap to expensive, from Barsaka to Nikon trying to find a mid powered scope that was not too large or too heavy for this rifle. On a 16 inch barrel most variables and many fixed look like a telescope on a toy gun. The only other scope to feel balanced and proportionate was the 3x32 Nikon P223. An excellent scope serving quite well on my Mini-14. The PA 6X is a nice middle ground between the tiny Nikon 3x32 and the overly long scopes offered by other manufacturers. The one thing that I am not sure of is the reticule size. I am certain this is specific to me but being farsighted (I need glasses to read) the reticule seems quite small and the numbers are difficult to impossible to read. I sighted through the scope with my reading glasses on and this did make a difference, the reticule was sharp and clean and I could make out the numbers but my peripheral vision was nonexistent. Being farsighted presents a challenge but as I said that is not an issue with the scope but more with my eyes. All in all my Primary impression is very positive overall. The only option I'd like to see and damned if I know if this is even possible is the same reticule at twice the size and the ranges cut in half to compensate. 50 meter spreads rather than 100 meters capping out at 300 or 400 meters. You could call it the 'Geezer Edition'.

Its not bad for the price. Definitely much clearer then other scopes in its price range. I run it on my AK 74 and its a blast to be able to out shoot friends with higher end rifles and optics. Knowing your wind is the most important factor.
I almost never aim using the center cross hair I am either half way to the wind dots, on them or double depending on wind conditions. A 3 mph wind is always there it seems. Dimitri

The open circle is very fast and the leads are a huge advantage when targets are moving. Transitioning into medium range the BDC,wind correlated with ranging makes it super fast and accurate. Again a huge advantage to not only be able to range center mass but full length in all angles. Simply put "Range them and Engage them" On a standard scope it looks like this Target detected Ranging (formula) multiplied by target size 18" divided by mills covering target=Range View data book or DOPE Adjust elevation and wind Engage target. This can be very confusing in stressful situations and very time consuming. In our testing the ACSS reticule has proven exceptionally effective! I hope this helps Dimitri

For me I am not an AT&T guy. My targets are med range out to 250, so the 1-4X24 fits me, a 6X isnt going to do me much good, BUT I do want your ACSS. You have to admit, guys shooting 600 to 900 yards are NOT using 1-4x24s. AND.... The guys who don't, still like new toys. |

M-80 at 2750 fps will line up center mass out 700 yards at 800 it will be about 14" high so would need to hold a bit low. I can't say much but .308 is on our list.

I have a PTR91 GI, it has an 18" barrel. The only thing I have at the moment ammo wise, is Herter's 150 gr ammo.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2486131/posts At 200-300 yards the 6x works great. The reticule is designed to shine close and far. Thats the beauty of it its an advanced CQB and Medium range reticle in one. What magnification, fixed, variable is up to you, there are other scope in the works but will cost more.ACSS takes the average Joe that shoots 100 yards and allows him or her to range and make hits 600-700-800 yards out! To get that kind of capability for the price the PA 6x is a steal!! Dimitri

Our standard mount is fine but is 30mm with included 1" inserts. The deluxe mount is a dedicated 1" mount and has two cross bolts for more secure mounting under hard use.

50 yard 0 is what is recommended at your altitude/barrel/ammo.
You will be on center mass out to 700 at 800 hold about 12" above target. M855 will be dead on out to 800 with 100 zero. Dimitri
