This is by far the most reasonable if not the best available CA compliance kit ive seen so far, had it on my BAD lower. Once you install it, the operation is by far the simplest vs other competitors, and also, much better price. Not affiliated with this company, just someone who appreciates better kit for better price.

Can this be combined with something that automatically drops the mag?

No because the JT is only designed to open ~1/4 of an inch. This opening range is not enough clearance for the CA safe mag to operate.

Love the AR-15 version, it's working so well I just ordered 3 more!

Can't wait for the .308 version - any update on our preorders?

I just grabbed one from Turner's. Pretty easy install, by far the best CA complaint device we have right now. Almost too easy to operate, I predict any LEO or range officers that see you shooting are going to get curious and come investigate. The 60 dollar price point is a little high too but for what it does I'll get over it.

Do the 308 kits work/fit on any 308 ar-10? I'm interested in using on Colt 901 and LaRue predatAR, 308's.

So this is just a BB alternative?

How does this make an AR featureless?

Excerpt from their website.

Featureless AR components no longer needed
No need to permanently modify your upper or lower
No need for bullet button.

bajadan

Search button is useless. Saw the thread on featureless pictures. that didn't help much to answer my initial question on the product advertisement.

Just bought and installed this compliance kit. Tried this on several lowers and uppers in combination. Here are some thoughts:

1. Works great on mil-spec lowers forged. Problematic on my commercial
billet lowers. Works on my 80% lowers just fine. YMMV.
2. Clearing a double feed requires that the upper be fully separated.
3. If your upper to lower fit is pretty stiff you will not get the "pop-up" effect
that you see in the JT videos.
4. With a little practice the reload speed is indeed pretty quick.
5. Works fine with a variety of mags. G.I., MagPul, Hex.

Seems like a viable solution.
