Army Reserve, Civil Affairs

I'm prior Army, 11B. Got the itch again, and a recruiter for the reserves got into contact with me and told me about civil affairs. Talked to the 1SG of the unit near here, and he gave me some info on it.

Sounds pretty cool, but does anyone else have any experience with CA, either being CA or working with em closely?

Lots of experience, can deploy a lot. Work in small teams.

I had the pleasure to train with a few CA guys(all medics) a few months ago. These guys were high-speed and knew their craft. If you have the opportunity to go through their assessment do it! I just remember the cadre always calling them the "other cool guys". The established cool guys being SF, 75th, and 160th..
